This was a wonderful and much needed podcast! Not only did the man cheat throughout the relationship, when they separated he donated sperm. They reconciled later but he made a decision not to tell his wife that he donated sperm. Can you imagine being his wife and getting a message on social media that your husband is the father of 11 year old twins? Or you take a DNA test for fun and discover you fathered a child that you knew nothing about? The woman that discovers the man that raised her isn’t her biological father? The young adult that tells their mother they did a test and the result shows half siblings? There are many scenarios out there but few therapist with experience in this area. It is very complicated, painful and can be earthshaking for individuals and families. Esther quickly analyzed the situation, called it for what it was, had very good suggestions and summarized it with a few short sentences. Thank you Esther!
