How well do you pay attention to your feelings? Many people have a difficult time connecting to their feelings. Instead, they often react to people and situations that trigger them emotionally with strategies that don’t work in the long run. If you struggle with negative thinking, (the tyrant in your head that won’t let it go) that is your signal to address your feelings and needs. By consciously putting your awareness towards your feelings you provide a powerful counter balance to your mind.

Ignored,used,abandoned, dismissed, betrayed, etc are not feelings. Feelings come from within. Words like these are often thought of as feelings but they are actually judgements and imply that if others just got their sh*t strait everything would be okay.. Your feelings belong to you and are not someone else's responsibility.
