In this episode we cover dreamlining, why tight deadlines are crucial for success (Parkinson's Law), and how we utilized these tools to tighten up our systems for the continued progress of this project!

Part II of the 4 Hour Work Week, by Tim Ferris, provided some incredible tools to gain clarity and outline a clear path to your goals. The challenge, however, is to actually use those tools... and we did just that.

Hit that "play" button to find out how we used them!

Postcards From Beyond Your Comfort Zone

This is a project designed to build a resilient soul. It is equal parts book group, confessional, motivational workshop, and therapy session. We are here to grow, change, and have fun!We started this project for several reasonsTo inform and educate. We love to learn. If you’re reading this you probably do too. We view this project as a way to push ourselves (and you) to read books about how to be a healthier more content human being who leaves a positive mark on world.Provide inspiration for positive change. We’re like most people, deep down, we fear change. However, we now see that constantly moving towards positive change is the only alternative. It’s like walking up a down escalator, if you’re standing still, you’re going backwards. We are doing this to motivate each other and ourselves. Let us be your spark plug!To heal and recover. All of us have trauma and wounding. Healing is a lifelong process that only happens when we courageously choose to accept that pain is part of our reality and turn to face it. We are drawn to the realm of personal development as a way to heal and recover from past pain that is holding us back.Become accountable. It is by sharing our faults, weaknesses, and shortcomings that we become stronger. It’s a muscle we never want to atrophy. Accountability for us is a necessity that needs to be reinforced consistently. It’s personalWe came together as a team to work on this project in part, because of how our past experiences have shaped our attitude toward personal development today. We would like to share our personal stories as way for you to get to know us. Maybe you can identify with some parts. If some of what you read resonates with you, we would love to hear from you. Will you join us?We figured out the secret. It’s about continuously doing the thing you’re afraid of. To move towards your pain and the thing that makes you uncomfortable. We view this as a vehicle to continually push ourselves to grow and change. We also see it as an instrument of personal accountability. To be completely transparent and vulnerable about our experiences in trying (and sometimes failing) to be better humans. Quite honestly, this project, the podcast itself scares us more than any of the individual challenges. We want you to come along with us. We want our experiences and information to help as many people as possible. We view this as a way to serve others not just ourselves. Join our conversation as we keep each other accountable and move from fear of being uncomfortable into adventures in healing.
