If you had thought you could delegate it, you would right? Um, right? Err… Okay, so we need to have a chat about delegation!
In this episode we go through the 5 Delegation coaching cards in the Management Success Cards set and unpack what each card could mean for you in letting go, and using delegation for development, delight and de-stress.
Card 1: What prevents you from delegating fully and openly? Is it trust, confidence, knowledge… Once you identify what prevents you, identify what next step you will take towards resolving that.
Card 2: Does you boss delegate tasks to you? Think about what they do well/not so well when delegating. What lessons can you get from the way your boss delegates?
Card 3: Delegation includes ensuring the person has all the right resources, decision-making authority, management guidance and support, team support … what’s missing from your delegation process?
