Often when you’ve had a couple of bad night’s sleep you can start to build the expectation that you’re not going to sleep the next night.
This builds a pattern of anxiety so that after a while you almost dread going to bed in case you can’t sleep.
This track is designed to guide you into a relaxed, focused state of awareness so can make it your intention to relax as best you can and prepare for a good night’s sleep.
You’ll learn to switch off the mind chatter that bombards you when you’re trying to fall asleep, and you’ll start to feel confident and comfortable in your body’s ability to sleep all by itself.
So, find a comfortable place to relax where you won’t be disturbed. It’s best to listen with earphones if you can. I’ll say each affirmation once, and then I’ll leave some time for you to repeat the affirmations either aloud or silently in your mind.
