Why do we dislike saying no?

Is it the feeling of rejecting someone?

Is it being a natural born people pleaser?

Is it because that person may be useful in your future so you're thinking, just stay in contact just in case they're 'useful' in the future?

At times we give other people our time, money or peace of mind by saying "yes" to them but "no" to ourselves.
