The two most common mistakes people make when suffering from low back pain are:
1. They stop running. 
Stopping running might decrease the pain, but will NOT fix these problems long term. Studies show that people who regularly practice in a running progression plan actually decrease their low back pain! 

2. Waiting too long to get help. 
If you are dealing with extensive low back pain, it is time to find a PT that is right for you! A physical therapist can help you work through this pain while finding solutions that will keep you running! 

The back is a very strong, stable structure, and low back pain can be extremely impacting on everyday life. This pain is complex, and some people don't always understand what that pain means. Pain does not always equal broken or damaged. By working the point of pain, you are strengthening the muscles and decreasing the probability of future problems.
