We almost had gospel musician and hip-hop artist Canton Jones (@thecantonjones) on this episode of the podcast. Since he had a last-minute conflict, we sat down with Tasha Bethea (@heytasha3_), a dynamic young woman working on his publicity team at Radar Live. Tasha shared that Canton’s motto is “bringing the church and the streets together”. And if you know his music, you get it. We enjoyed hearing how things come together behind the scenes and while Tasha herself plays piano, her goal is to impact the music industry as a well-rounded executive. In the meantime, she’s soaking up valuable experience in the studio and on the road and pursuing a music management degree at GSU (Go Panthers!). We got a kick out of the fact that Tasha just transferred to a school in Atlanta but is already leading the first tailgate event to start off the school year.
