I like the feel of this microcosm semi post apocalyptic zombie show. I'm glad the show focus in large is on the strange and ridiculous interactions with people and the environment and not just the concept of zombies which I'm not a huge fan of. While the main characters should be concerned about the collapse of society, they would rather bicker and get stuck in sticky situations in an almost artful denial. This is a very cool show.

Is it weird to call a post apocalyptic scenario “adorable?” The dynamic between this couple is so believable that at times it can be jarring to remember that this isn’t just a slice of life comedy, but that lives are on the line at all times! The dialogue could have been written by Richard Curtis at his quick paced sitcom best. Perfectly witty, yet dry as a bone, and always rooted in reality. Just an absolute delight to listen to!

This is a lovely pod that mixes the drama of the walking dead with the mundane of the Midlands. A couple trying to make sure they survive zombies, but also that their relationship survives. 28 Days Later meets Love Actually. Enjoy!

I love this podcast. You hear Zombie-themed Rom Com and might get certain notions in mind, but Zed 1 is so much better than that. It's everything you would want in a husband/wife trying to hold it together story. It's funny, clever, and just... Exactly what you need amidst THIS pandemic.

Between the amazing story telling and hilarious banter Zed 1 is one of my favorite podcasts! 👏 It’s so fun to escape from everyday life and listen to how they survive a zombie apocalypse. Not to mention, I could listen to your voices/accents for hours. Thanks for a fun listen!

Exceptional comedy entertainment

There's a lot of serial podcasts coming out these days, and each of them aspire to the level Zed 1 achieves. A wonderful, witty and often touching zombie story that plays like a combination between classic radio serials and an Edgar Wright movie. Excellent, clever writing, lovable characters and an engrossing story. It's a gem, and it's about to blow up in a big way, any second.

Such a fun little show that i can't wait to hear the next episode of and even got to guest moan on this one time!

Is there a more likable couple on a podcast at the moment.This clever, funny and sometimes touching Comedy/Drama has something for anyone that's ever seen a relationship through hard times as well as fantasised about how they might handle a Zombie Outbreak. This one's for you if you know every line to Shaun of the Dead. YEAH BOII!!!

This show is a conundrum; so we have a healthy slice of post-disaster Zombie fare. Based in Faringdon, which sounds like a fantastic holiday destination. The undead have usurped the living to take control of the surrounding area. So we have scavenging, ultra violence and despair. A horrible scenario that is surprisingly adorable thanks to our survivors, an amazing duo that tackle all their problems with a genuine wit and eschaton optimism. Truly worth a try and before long you'll be waiting for every future instalment.My only criticism is the language. I was pulled over by the police whilst doing 90mph in a school zone and refused to answer their questions or take my mask off. During the following scuffle, the podcast let out some awful language because I refused to turn down the radio. I can't help but feel this will reflect poorly on my character when I end up in court. So tone down the swears if possible.

Loving this pod! A very human story told in a clever and witty way. Very apt narrative of today's world! Get some Zed1 in your life!

I've never been more intrigued and fascinated by a show like I am with this one. Fantastic storytelling and truly a great show that everyone needs to experience.

Imagine a lockdown because of zombies! The Zed1 team gives a short sardonic view of a married couple dealing with a zombie outbreak. Great parodies of an imagined government response and some great pop culture references!

I love this take on the zombie genre!! A married couple try to navigate their relationship while also doing their best to survive during the zombie apocalypse. Funny and entertaining, one of my favorite scripted podcasts!

This podcast is absolutely one of my favourites, and I’ve thoroughly enjoyed it from the very beginning. The storytelling is so creative, witty and of such high quality, and I just love Aaron and Katie's relationship, and their interactions are hilarious. If you haven’t listened to this podcast yet, then you really are missing out.

If you hang around the indie audio drama community on Twitter enough, you'll eventually run into Zed 1. That's because this show's creators are ardent cheerleaders for the genre, friendly, outgoing and supportive. Not only does this show that they're great people, but it comes through in their show too. It's clear that they're having a blast making this simply produced comedy, which is constantly funny, inventive, and filled with ironic takes on our world. If a zombie apocalypse were to really happen, it's unlikely we'd be like Brad Pitt in World War Z, and more like Katie and Aaron, bickering their way though survival armed with toothbrushes and driving ice cream trucks. That wouldn't be so bad.

What a great find. The hosts have voices made for podcasting. Unique concept, well done. Love the short-and-sweet format. Subscribed!

This is a great serial podcast. An interesting approach to the Zombie Apocalypse. Both touching and humorous at times from both the human and zombie point of view. Start at the beginning and enjoy the ride.
