0:07
through it all and believes your best life is about
0:09
being brave and tapping into your magic
0:11
. Hi , I'm Hannah Pratt , an online
0:13
coach and vulnerability queen . I'm
0:16
here ready to share my experiences through grief , life
0:18
and finally plays on the podium to help you
0:21
level up . So grab a latte and
0:23
a notebook and get ready to be inspired through
0:25
the yes you Can podcast . Hey
0:28
friends , welcome to a brief
0:30
episode of the yes you Can podcast . Today
0:32
, I am pulling some of my favorite
0:35
questions that I've gotten through my
0:37
webinars that are happening right now . So , depending
0:39
on when you listen to this , it might be in the future . I
0:42
just had a webinar last night on
0:44
October 26th , and I'm having another one tomorrow
0:46
, on the 28th of
0:48
October , at 11 am , and
0:50
this is one of my favorite questions that I
0:52
got . These
0:54
are few of my favorite questions that I got in
0:57
that webinar , so there's still
0:59
time . First of all , there's still time to sign up if
1:01
you're listening to this , as it's live for
1:03
October 28th and , yes , you get the replay
1:05
sent to you afterwards if you cannot attend live
1:08
. These webinars are the
1:10
celebration of my doors opening to instructor
1:12
magic around nine , which is happening November
1:15
of 2023 . So six weeks
1:17
together , learning , deepening
1:19
our mastery of a bunch
1:21
of different skills personality , motivation , coaching
1:23
, queuing , voice
1:26
and presence and mindset
1:28
and it is all designed to help you get to waitlisted
1:30
classes within six months
1:33
after going to these six weeks
1:35
together . And so for aspiring instructors
1:37
, for new instructors , for studio owners
1:39
, even for instructors and FitBros have been in
1:41
the game for 20 plus years . That's
1:43
some of the people who have been attending my webinars . I
1:46
have taught more than 300
1:48
people inside instructor magic
1:50
, and so I'm pulling out some of these questions
1:53
that are so good that I get a lot of just
1:55
to give you a bit of a sneak peek in terms
1:58
of how I coach from
2:00
the experience of actually having done the thing , actually
2:03
having been somebody who teaches
2:05
, currently on the podium and knows what it takes
2:07
to fill a room in 2023
2:09
, in the time frame that we're in . So this question
2:11
came from Rachel on embracing
2:14
silence in motivating
2:16
and also in coaching , and
2:18
how to avoid feeling
2:20
like you need to fill the silence . Now
2:22
you'll hear me coach her specifically and give
2:24
examples , but being an effective
2:27
public speaker is one of the greatest
2:29
and most underrated skills
2:31
that you will begin to master once
2:34
you become more effective
2:36
on the podium , in front of
2:38
a room or coaching clients . Being
2:41
extremely intentional with your language
2:43
is something I teach inside instructor magic and
2:46
it will help you become
2:48
more impactful with everything you say
2:50
, making sure you don't feel
2:52
like you're repeating yourself , like
2:55
you are filling the silence and it's awkward
2:57
, or that you are motivating
3:00
from a place of just trying to slap together inspirational
3:02
quotes and not actually telling a story
3:04
. So if you haven't attended one of my webinars
3:06
, I highly recommend signing up for
3:09
the 28th Saturday
3:11
. This is the last one I'm going to be running
3:13
. That's a free webinar in 2023
3:15
. So there's literally
3:17
no reason not to join , and I'm
3:19
already seeing people join instructor magic and I'm so
3:22
excited about this cohort that's coming together , that's going
3:24
to learn alive and have
3:26
Q&As with me where they can ask questions , just like this one
3:28
. But today we're focusing on embracing
3:30
silence and it's one of my core tenets
3:32
and principles inside effective
3:34
motivation , which is an entire module inside instructor
3:37
magic . Now , if you're interested in
3:40
the course , if you want to learn more , please
3:42
DM me at Hanna Rose Spin
3:44
and if this is helpful to you , save
3:46
this episode so you can come back to it time
3:49
and time again and listen to how to embrace
3:51
silence while you're motivating or coaching
3:53
on the podium . That's
3:56
it . So let's get into my answer to
3:58
Rachel's question . So Rachel said
4:00
would love to hear more about embracing silence to class . This
4:03
is my favorite thing , rachel . I
4:05
love embracing silence . If
4:08
we think about the most effective
4:10
public speakers , motivational
4:13
speakers specifically , they'll
4:18
have moments where they pause and
4:22
allow their words to sink in . So
4:25
you saw how I just sort of did that right , like
4:27
intentionally slowed my
4:29
speech , brought it way down If
4:32
I said something in class like what
4:36
if you could do it ? What
4:39
if you could do the thing that you've
4:41
been dreaming of for the last five , 10 , 15
4:44
years ? What
4:46
if you were able to
4:49
take one step towards that dream tomorrow
4:51
? And before
4:53
you knew it , you
4:56
were 50% of the way there . All
4:59
because you asked the question what if I can
5:01
? And
5:03
so that silence where I'm
5:05
like putting it in front of
5:07
each thing I'm asking , I'm
5:10
giving them space to
5:13
take in the question I'm asking
5:15
and actually kind of answer it for themselves in
5:17
their minds , and when that happens
5:19
, you can hear a pin drop in that room
5:21
outside of the breathing and the climbing and whatever else
5:24
they're doing , and
5:26
it's like this exhale where
5:28
people just connect
5:30
so much more deeply with you
5:32
. And so
5:34
sometimes I will intentionally
5:37
, especially if we're , and so that's
5:39
a moment of motivation . Another way to use
5:41
it a silence in a ride
5:43
really effectively is if you're climbing
5:45
, and it is a
5:47
really intense climb , and you just let
5:49
them grind it out
5:51
and you say you've got 36
5:54
seconds to take care of this . Get
5:57
your together , climb
6:00
this hill yes , you can go
6:02
. And then you give them the time
6:04
, this space to rage it out and like go
6:06
inwards , instead of asking them to connect with
6:08
you . That's super powerful too . So
6:10
there's effective ways that we use silence . Those are just two
6:12
like quick examples . I hate to say
6:14
it's covered in the course , but it is covered in the course , so
6:17
let me know if you have any questions
6:19
beyond that . But I hope that that was helpful
6:21
. So that is it for what I'm going to share
6:23
for this episode , but if you have not signed up for the webinar
6:25
on October 28 , please
6:28
do that . I would love to see you . Five keys
6:30
to venison's doctor mastery . It's
6:32
updated if you've taken it in the past . There's
6:34
new stuff there and please share
6:36
it with somebody else who you think could benefit from a little magic
6:38
in their lives . Thanks so much , friends , and
6:40
have a great day . Thanks for listening
6:43
all the way to the end of the yes , you can podcast
6:45

6:51

6:53
to listen to . If you really loved it

6:58
could benefit from a little magic and love patient
7:00
