As a therapist for about a decade, and as someone who spent my earlier years feeling I wasn’t enough, I know we feel this way because we're focused on "the gap". We keep trying to close the gap between how we are and who we believe we should be. But this approach backfires because the harder we try to change/better ourselves, the more we feed our fear that we aren’t enough now. It's tempting to believe the lie that "I'll finally be enough when...", right?
It doesn’t have to be this way. Over the years I’ve come up with lots of metaphors that help people like you make sense of the things that keep us stuck and help us get unstuck. Hopefully it inspires you to build your own personal *Glow Up Confidence Kit* so you'll be well equipped for the future! It does take some effort, but that doesn't mean it has to be difficult. I'm all about a low-intensity high-impact vibe.
