Celebration is the key to success!

The topic of celebration is one that I have been thinking a lot about lately. Is celebrating just a waste of time or are there proven benefits? What is the relationship to empowered performance and building confidence? How might you celebrate your successes? Many of you may be thinking that this sounds like just another ‘to do’ item on a long list of things that seem more important.

I’m here to tell you that celebrating is one of the most important ways of empowering your performance and being recognized for all the great things you do! There is even evidence that celebrating can promote happiness and result in the actual release of ‘happy chemicals’ in your brain! Who wouldn’t want that?

Celebrating can be as simple as taking a few minutes for self-care or developing a practice of gratitude for what you have achieved and what you are going to do in the future. Celebrate in whatever way suits you best! Just do it!
