We conclude our journey to Middle Earth with Peter’s Jackson grandiose trilogy capper. It won all of the awards and emotionally shook us for four hours. It’s The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King!

We interrogate the familiar criticism of King’s “too many endings” — we all have some thoughts about the spider — we are real Simps For Samwise — and we applaud one the greatest film achievements in our lifetime: an ambitious finale that not only sticks the landing, but gracefully brings a beloved story and cherished characters to a satisfying, tear-jerking conclusion.

This whole thing is mostly just an excuse to listen to a bunch of great Lord of the Rings quotes.
