One of the issues I dealt with when I moved to the USA was to create a new web of connections.

I am shy (yes, I am) and I needed to learn some new skills to be good at networking. That’s how I have encountered Judy Robinett’s work, a great book called “How to Be a Power Connector.”

And that’s why I was more than happy when Judy agreed to be a guest on my podcast.

Judy is not just the author of two best-selling books. She is also a seasoned CEO known for her visionary leadership and masterful networking skills.

Right at the beginning, Judy's analogy of a shepherd safeguarding his flock sets the stage for a profound exploration into the heart of guiding, protecting, and cultivating a thriving company culture.

The dialogue ventures into the high-stakes world of CEOs, where Judy's tales of steering companies through financial squalls reveal the stark reality of leadership under pressure.

Judy's transformation from a shy individual to a networking connoisseur is nothing short of inspiring. Her conviction in the power of curiosity and generosity was very clear since the first email she wrote me.

From tales of personal failures to partnerships fraught with legal icebergs, Judy's experiences become a lighthouse for navigating the complex seas of entrepreneurship.

That’s’ her message: approach leadership with a giving hand, build trust, seize opportunities amidst chaos, and earn your place in the leadership game.

Now to you: listen to the whole episode to learn from Judy’s wisdom!---Welcome aboard 'When Leaders Talk,' where leadership isn't just a topic, it's a journey narrated by the captains steering the ship—leaders themselves. Each episode sails through uncharted territories of leadership, offering you a first-hand view from the helm. We bring together luminaries from every sphere—big corporations, agile startups, and solo ventures—to share their personal sagas, challenges, and unique leadership styles.
