Have you ever been cheated on?  Only to find that you have trust issues.  Have you ever been abused only to find that you attract more abusive partners?  Do you push people away before they get too close, because you are worried about getting hurt?  

There are so many things we do to call in mirrors that expose the shadows we hide from ourselves.  They will come out in relationships in ways we never thought possible, but contrary to our emotions, they happen to help us.  When we observe our behavior through experience or our interactions with others, instead of reacting, we can learn more about those shadows in ourselves and make changes or accept those things that we've been avoiding looking at.
