I would like to tell you that I had this great vision of becoming the best DJ company that ever existed, that I was going to be the biggest and best DJ in the world and that I had every step of my masterplan carefully laid out. When in the fact the reality of it was I had absolutely no idea what I was doing, I just wanted to be involved with music in some way.
In 2002-2009 I had a very good job working for Mercedes-Benz in Marketing, then one day we were informed there was going to be a restructure and some positions were at threat, sadly I was later made redundant. It’s horrible, for anyone who has been made redundant and loved their job so much, it’s the worst feeling.
So I was at Home, endlessly scrolling through jobs and just clicking on everything and anything, I must have applied for 50 jobs a day. Then a banner advert came up for a weeks DJ class, I clicked on it, read all that was required and enrolled. It was a crash course in Mobile DJing, which lasted a week. Booked a Hotel and off I went.
