Honestly, a disappointing treatment of politically relevant topic. Ryan + OtherDude do reasonable job rehearsing the tangled financial cluster of student loans since the 90s. FAIL to comprehensively engage what caused Uni "financial crises" in the first place - which was Reganomics & neoliberallism. Tax cuts for the 1% with belief in private wealth trickle down and for-profit models. Presenting "financial crisis" as popping out of the ether—as untethered social problem desperately needing private $$ fix—is weak & unserious. Would expect better from a self-identified progressive platform like WAD. Y'all blew this one.
