Alright, folks, it's time for a weather update for Minneapolis, Minnesota!

Today, we're looking at sunny skies with a high near 83 degrees. Expect a light north wind around 5 miles per hour.

Tonight, it will be partly cloudy with a low around 64. The breeze will shift to the southeast, blowing around 5 miles per hour.

As we move into Saturday, showers are likely, followed by more showers and possibly a thunderstorm after 4 pm. Highs will be near 73 with a south-southeast wind at 5 to 15 miles per hour. There's an 80% chance of precipitation with new rainfall amounts between a quarter and a half of an inch possible.

Saturday night, brace yourself for more showers and possibly a thunderstorm before 1 am, then showers and thunderstorms likely after 1 am. Some storms could bring heavy rainfall, so be prepared. Overnight lows will be around 66 with a gusty southeast wind of 10 to 15 miles per hour, reaching up to 25 miles per hour.

On Sunday, there's a 20% chance of showers and thunderstorms before 1 pm. The day will gradually clear up to mostly sunny skies with a high near 92. A south wind at 10 to 15 miles per hour will cool things down.
