When it comes to competing for "Angela Lewis" portrayed by Halle Berry, do the two have a mutual respect for one another or is there an underlying jealousy between them? We will discuss themes of love, ambition, and self-discovery as well as the cultural dynamics between both characters in this romantic love story.   

Last, we will discuss how this film and others have influenced our ability to develop healthy relationships and how they portray an assertive versus passive male mindset.
