If we want relationships - platonic, romantic, or otherwise - to continue to grow, evolve and deepen, we have to be okay with having difficult conversations. And more importantly, we have to try our best to truly listen and find a resolution.

So often, our ego gets in the way of our relationships' evolution. It encourages us to act out, blame, avoid, shame - you name it. Anything but open our heart, sit down, and communicate. But when we do, magic can happen.

When we have the courage to have difficult conversations, we are always, always rewarded.
