VibeQueen gets to know Bass player, composer and educator Choby Scheufler. Born in Mexico with a Brazilian mother and a Mexican father, Choby wanted to be an actor until he started playing guitar at age 16, later on, he joined a band where he was the worst guitarist and had to play bass. (typical bassist story).

One year after, his father passed away and he understood that music was what healed him. It led him to realize that he wanted to dedicate his life to music.

Later on with no money or bank account or help from his family he left off to his dream college not knowing how he would pay for bills.

He ended up graduating at a masters level from his dream school (had to sleep on the couch of the school because he couldn't pay Boston rent).

Now he is about to release his Album Siricumbaia, it talks about human unity. We may all come from different backgrounds and places, yet at some point, we all go through similar experiences as people binding us together through common emotions. This album is him opening up telling his stories, such as losing his father, his relationship breakups, his overflowing joy of living, and more.
