There comes a time in every man's life when he must get out of bed, put his trousers on and find a new place in life. My time came yesterday morning when the security guard in the bus station discovered my nest and insisted upon me leaving the premises immediately. During the ensuing chase I happened to pass a gang of youths seated on a dividing barrier who were all gathered around a ghetto blaster listening to a tape they had downloaded of a hip new film podcast - Verbal Diorama. Being something of a film buff myself I was intrigued and decided to hang around a while to listen to it, and I'm glad that I did!!! I found myself so thoroughly invigorated by the enthusiasm and passion shown by the host, named Em (which I imagine is short for something) that my legs, by now tired from running in circles around the barrier, suddenly felt a surge of power and I was able to leap almost 7 feet into the air and through a partially-open window to make my escape while the guard shook his fist in frustration. I'm happy to say that I have found my new place in life, and it is enriched with a subscription to this fine podcast. *hugs*

Em is a legend. The craft and work that goes into her reviews is admirable and is deserving of your time and attention. I really enjoy this show and I can't wait to hear more.

Em's podcast has something a lot of poddy's don't, which is passion - whether it's a movie that's great, or one that's tosh, the enthusiasm and passion make it easy to listen to. Highly recommended for all movie and cinema lovers, particularly if you enjoy movie trivia and anecdotes about what goes on during production.

I love Em, she is a fantastic host...with a voice as smooth as silk. I have listened to several episodes, 'The Thing', 'Bridesmaids', 'The Muppets', X-Men, and 'The Nice Guys'. So, at this point you could say that I am hooked. I love movies and I love how Em doesn't just dish on the movie itself, but how the project started from its inception...to the lore/drama/legends surrounding it. Every episode is a deep dive into movies you love. Highly recommend.

Where do I start? Em has really made something special here. She inserts humor, joy and sheer brilliance into each episode and the exploration of the legacy of movies. I have been in love with movies for as long as I can remember (literally) and, as a filmmaker, it is so wonderful to see someone dig into my beloved artform with such gusto.As a podcaster, keep it up Em, you're an inspiration to all of us the world over.

I love movie podcasts and this is a new favourote of mine. Em does her research and presents a great overview, review, and discussion about each movie she features.

In the never ending line of movie podcast (of which I am one) I was surprised to even have an interest in a solo host show. But Em's taste in films was similar to mine. Downloaded a few episodes and threw it in the general "film" tag. ONE EPISODE LATER I am hooked and Em has worked her way into my "favorites" tag. I was not expecting to be so entertained by one person talking about a movie for an hour. But Em is just full of joy and passion, from that ridiculous intro song every moment of the show is oozing with passion that it is hard not to feel the same!

I love Em's unique take on the hugely saturated movie podcasts genre. Her reviews are adorable, as is her borderline creepy obsession with Keanu. Keep it up, Em. It's a fantastic show, well executed.
