We had an insightful and very informative chat with artist, Chris Lombard about his accidental first love: charcoal.  Looking at it, it is a simple "charred stick" that can be used to create amazing artworks by scratching it on paper. Chris' passion and commitment to the medium is evident in his work and his knowledge and experience with the medium.** Disclaimer: Unfortunately the audio recording is slightly out of time due to the way we had to do the recording in this "interesting time of social distancing", but the interview is still valid and very informative - even though we did stray from the topic of charcoal here and there as Chris and Inge flex their art and art history muscle and Warren tries yet horribly fails to not sound too lost...
