1991's Kathryn Bigelow-directed action surfer flick is a trip, to say the least. No one is quite sure how to describe it or explain it, but the ride is enjoyable nonetheless. Claire and David attempt to put everything into words as they talk about the performances of Swayze, Reeves, Petty, and Busey, as they debate the validity of the iconic skydiving scene, Claire puts forward a thesis on action movies, and David puts forth a thesis on bromances.
