From the King of sports Books comes

0:07

the Key Sports podcast Unleashed,

0:14

presented by MGM.

0:17

Here's your host, Jerry Ferrara

0:19

and Olivia Harland Decker. Unleashed

0:29

is live in Glendale, Arizona, home

0:31

to Super Bowl fifty seven. Olivia Harland

0:33

Decker, Jerry Ferrara coming to you from

0:35

the bed MGM Sports Book. We are

0:37

so glad to be here. There's so much energy in

0:39

this room. I mean, Jerry, we started

0:41

the day off golfing. It's beautiful here in Arizona,

0:44

and we are ending it with a guest

0:46

of honor and it's someone who I consider

0:48

a dear, dear friend who I have not seen

0:51

physically in person for lots of reasons in a few

0:53

years. So this is a heck of a way to reunite Jay

0:55

Glazer, Buddy, I know this is

0:57

definitely yeah, I know this is definitely

0:59

not a week to get some time at

1:01

you. So but thank you for doing

1:03

that. Absolutely. Man. No, I'm I'm honored. Hey you

1:05

anytime anything you need you know that, man. Loyalty

1:08

is a dying art. Man. I gotta be loyal to my family.

1:10

You're my family. I love that. So

1:13

at what point will you get some to take

1:16

a breath. Is it not some Monday? Monday

1:19

Monday, So I I leave here because we have

1:21

a five hour pregame show on Fox

1:23

only on Fox I did. We did a three hour

1:25

show last night for the opening

1:27

night, and then I had to do something hang on all the networks

1:30

with Andy Reid, Nicks Criani. Today

1:32

we had our own Fox Media Day, so we had

1:34

to do that. Tomorrow. I'm torn a party,

1:36

Glazer Paluza, which I was started the first party

1:38

of the year, and I only call it glazer Paluza. I

1:41

started in two thousand seven here in Arizona at

1:43

my house just to piss off like strayan

1:45

an TONI no other reason.

1:48

And then, yeah, we have a lot of Fox stuff

1:50

that we have obviously had to do a chief feature

1:53

for the pregame show. We have rehearsals and we

1:55

have our five hour pregame show game

1:57

all that, and then I'm flying home

1:59

one day to l A. I got a house here

2:02

in Arizona. I just moved back to l A and

2:04

I'm repacking my stuff and I'm getting

2:06

in a plane to Thailand and I'm

2:08

gonna go training the jungles with some friends

2:10

out there and moy Thai and do a lot of

2:12

mental health work. I got these monks out there that I work

2:14

with, and I go to this place to like really kind of clean up

2:16

and recharge my system. And I'm pretty

2:19

excited. Yeah. I meant Thailand is like the

2:21

land of a thousand smiles. There

2:23

such happy people out there and forgot

2:25

like me with fight background ago and training in Thailand,

2:28

training the jungles is pretty damn cool for me. We

2:30

could do this whole podcast just asking about

2:32

your trip. I'm gonna try to try to restrain

2:34

myself and ask you about last night because you're

2:36

an opening night. You were hosting it. You said

2:38

three hours, right, and that's a big show,

2:41

and you're talking to players, are talking to coaches. First

2:43

of all, for those who didn't watch, can you walk

2:45

us through the news and everything you know today

2:48

about Patrick mahomes ankle way better than

2:50

last week? Right after the game he or

2:53

their divisional game, we got hurt. Right

2:55

after the game, he started rehabbing and

2:57

then next two days they

2:59

got him running in a pool. The day after

3:01

that they got him running an altargy, which is a

3:04

treadmill that pulls you off the

3:06

ground. More so you don't put your full weight on the treadmill.

3:08

And then they got him on the field like this, dude, there's

3:11

certain guys are just superhuman, are

3:13

just great healers. He's not a great

3:15

healer. He's a superhuman healer. There's an injury

3:17

that would sideline most especially a

3:20

running quarterback two to four weeks and

3:22

there was no And it was funny if do you remember

3:24

him when you originally hurt

3:26

it, and he was kind of throwing a fit on the sideline

3:29

and the reason why is Andy Reid had

3:31

told him, you're not going back in the game unless you

3:33

get X rays. And he's like,

3:35

no, no, I'm not doing it. I'm not doing He's

3:38

like, I'm good. I'm good. Like nope, I

3:40

was working the sideline game within

3:42

reach Patrick and I told Jerry afterwards, because

3:45

there's only so much you can report live it was the

3:47

national radio broadcast and how to kind of be

3:49

careful. But I said it looked like an intervention

3:51

of the enemy. And I

3:53

mean Matt Aggy and Coach Read just saying

3:57

but they're just like, we're not letting me play unless

3:59

you have a trace. And he was like, no, I'm

4:01

good. I'm fine, I'm good, and they're like no, So

4:03

they have to protect him from himself because there were some

4:05

guys who were just different. Patrick Mahomes

4:08

is different. Although I'm sure you appreciate it, but you're

4:10

not super shocked against the Bengals to see that

4:12

performance, it wasn't. I mean, you appreciate

4:14

it for what it was, but no, he's

4:18

when all said and done, he'll be talked about in

4:20

the category of the Bradys and

4:22

the Jordan's and Lebrons and the Tiger

4:24

Woods and people like that. To Serena Williams,

4:26

yeah, and I imagine when you're when you're there

4:28

covering and trying to get infot like, is this the hardest

4:30

week to get info? This has to be the most tight lip

4:33

that everyone is, especially when it comes

4:35

to injuries and stuff like that. No, I'm still pretty

4:37

good, like you know, you

4:39

know, as far as like my My relationships are for

4:41

everything, right, So it's not like superow

4:43

week people clam up them and you have relationships. You have relationships,

4:46

and my relationships on both teams are really really

4:48

strong. Andy Read and I are very close, have

4:50

been for years and years and years. And

4:52

then bunch of eagle players, and

4:55

I've trained eagle players for a long

4:57

time, and you were in the gym, you

4:59

were on b Cole performance in our gym.

5:02

When I first got Lane Johnson, when I started

5:04

trying to Lane Johnson right, he

5:06

he lived with me and my son for four months. The

5:08

funniest thing was, this is back in the day. My son

5:10

was like ten years old, and obviously I'm sure I'm

5:12

five seven, and Lane comes into our

5:14

house and he sees out the too short you know, me

5:16

and my son, and he goes, damn, I feel like

5:19

Gandolf in this house. I

5:22

remember Lane's first day and unbreakable,

5:25

and I think I was finishing uh and he

5:27

was working out. I

5:29

was in the bathroom like washing my hands, and obviously

5:31

this giant human being comes rushing into

5:33

the bathroom to throw up. And I walked

5:35

out like that guy, I don't know if he's all right.

5:37

And the seven more times later and then he's

5:40

been the best offensive ring in football pretty

5:42

much. But what's the difference between and everybody else. Everybody

5:44

else they would throw up, they wouldn't come back. He stayed

5:46

for four months and came back another year, and another year, came

5:48

back last year after after one of

5:50

his surgeries, his actle surgery, and

5:53

the first time we put pressure on it and we got

5:55

back some of our training. And our whole thing with him

5:57

is, you know, with all our our players, try

6:00

to give him that fighter mentality and a lot of that fighter

6:02

mentality is it's your honor to fight hurt, right,

6:05

Randy Gator is my partner in this right And Randy

6:07

was this guy you know, he

6:09

goes and breaks his arm against

6:12

Gonzaga and she's like, oh man, I got around

6:14

before they stop it. I better go in

6:16

his fight now and slams him on his face and breaks

6:18

his nose and finish his fight. But he went in against

6:20

Brock Lesner with a torn elbow and I

6:22

was like, hey man, maybe we pull out of this fight. And he's like, what do you

6:25

mean pull out of the fight. And I'm like, Randy, we haven't been

6:27

able to lift your fucking tiny like you're not

6:29

what Brock is, you know, monster, and

6:31

let's go in full strength and he's like, are

6:33

you out of your mind today? That's the whole point,

6:36

Like, could you imagine if I could beat him at even

6:38

if I could just slam him at That's

6:41

what makes me a warrior? No, and he just starts

6:43

yelling at me. I'm like, whoa whoa slow down cowboy.

6:45

But that's what the same thing with Lane. Manage your

6:47

honor to fight hurt. And that's since he

6:49

tore his growing Make no mistake, Lane

6:52

Johnson is not playing on a like a

6:54

pollar that he tore his groin. It's

6:57

torn which needs surgery. Man.

7:00

What he did to boast it last week on one leg

7:02

was ridiculous. But before every single game,

7:05

I talked to him like he remember this gerald

7:07

to fight hurt. And all these players, the great

7:09

ones, Ronde Barbera who never he

7:11

had the longest active streak of players of

7:14

consecutive game played when when he was playing, he's a hundred,

7:16

you know, seventy nine pounds, and he had the longest

7:19

active streak of players have consecutive

7:21

getting played when he had retired, and

7:24

he played through man broken

7:27

form, broken thumb, crack,

7:29

knee crackh in, high

7:31

ankle, springing this and that, and same thing. He's

7:33

like, Man, if I could shut this guy down, knowing

7:36

in my head, I'm at that

7:38

makes me a gangster. And that was his like

7:40

mentality and and a lot of these guys. Tony

7:42

Gonzalaz didn't miss a game for fifteen years,

7:45

and same thing spraying ankles. This is not you

7:47

know the strands of the world that that what makes

7:49

you different. Lane has has reached

7:51

that level. He's different, right, It's his hondred

7:53

to fight hurt. He approaches the game

7:56

as a fighter, no longer as a football player.

7:58

Not to we try and teach these guys. I mean, you talk

8:00

about what makes you great, what makes you so great in your

8:02

job is these relationships you mentioned Andy

8:05

Reid, Nick Sirianni. So much of the storyline

8:07

is read facing his former team in Sirianni,

8:09

who got fired by Andy Reid, facing and get retained.

8:12

So you can't get fired

8:14

fair enough different. So what do you

8:16

know that's going through both head coaches

8:18

mind right now as they approach this one. So and he's

8:20

actually like enjoying it more. Yeah.

8:23

So last week I spent some time with him. The other day

8:25

I had to go to Kansas City, so we spent

8:27

a good good amount of time and he's like, you

8:29

know what, man, just enjoy this, he said

8:31

after the af C Championship game, said I stayed

8:34

up till like five third in the morning, returning like

8:36

every text and then my

8:38

wife yelled at me, like, what are you doing? You too old? Were

8:40

seeing up all night? You gotta be it so but

8:42

He's like, I'm really just now at this point,

8:44

I'm just trying to enjoy those other things

8:47

that I didn't enjoy in the past. And then Nick, I'm

8:49

like, dude, you know it's not supposed to be this easy, right, but

8:51

you know in your second year. But

8:54

when I went to Eagles campus year there are three teams

8:56

this year. Then I said, man, these teams

8:58

I think are gonna be the teams

9:00

to contend with. I was right on two. I

9:03

was wrong on one. It's wrong on the Rams. I

9:05

thought they had a Bobby Wagner and Robinson and

9:07

man, things are gonna go okay. The other

9:09

one was the Vikings because having Kevin

9:12

O'Connell in there, I just thought the way he was going to change

9:14

that culture. Man, he was just gonna fide

9:16

with him and get and get the most out of Kirk Cousins. And

9:18

then the other one was the Eagles and the reason why when

9:21

I went out to camp it was so different

9:23

in the confidence that had and Nick where last

9:25

year, it was like, Okay, we're still

9:27

trying to figure this dude out. Like he came out of nowhere

9:29

to be a head coach. His interview just

9:31

happened randomly. He happened to be in Florida, had

9:33

no clothes of them, showed up like he was surfing,

9:36

and just kind of blew him out of the water. And

9:38

so they're like this, I know what he's talking about.

9:40

It's not always tough like so they're still trying

9:42

to figure him out. But what he did in his rookie

9:45

year, they ended up buying in. So this

9:47

whole offseason they really bought in. So when

9:49

they went to camp and he was coaching,

9:52

it's just a totally different when you have the full confidence

9:54

of everybody. And I saw the weapons I had. I

9:56

said, this team is gonna be a team that's gonna

9:58

be a contender. I picked them to win the NFC East

10:01

and I was like, man, they're gonna be tough. And and that

10:03

was the reason why he just that whole culture brought

10:05

in him. And when you're sure

10:08

on something that takes away the hesitation,

10:10

the hesitation is where you can get burnt. I was racking

10:12

my brain earlier trying to figure out Super Bowls

10:14

passed. You know, there's always even if it's a close

10:17

margin between the two teams, it's always

10:19

a pretty clear favorite. And I really think this

10:21

is a game where I cannot figure out. I know the sports

10:23

books have you know, the Eagles are slightly

10:25

favored, but when I just look at I really have no

10:28

good beat on who should be favorite

10:30

in this game. So I think it's the box reverse the brawler.

10:33

And the Brawlers are obviously Eagles,

10:35

right, They're just a physical team.

10:38

Man. They will beat you up, they want to beat you up.

10:40

And the boxer the finesse team is Kent City,

10:42

right, and you never know what that quarterback in that tight end

10:45

and what he does with all his weapons. Right,

10:47

they just kind of picked your part and it's like they're trying

10:49

to hit you from the outside and they can pick your part,

10:51

and he does right, and eventually he's just gonna

10:54

kind of outlast year on the scorecards and he's the last

10:56

man standing. Yeah, I I

10:58

just can't. I don't know about you, Olivia, I'm really

11:00

I know she cheeps her your

11:02

second favorite. You your second favorite, like

11:05

pack from

11:07

Kansas City. Oh you are Okay,

11:10

had to go to Kansas City the plaza. Now,

11:13

let me tell you something about Kansas City. Okay, you guys

11:15

have this really fucked up haunted house out

11:17

there. Do you know what I'm talking about? The gates of Hell? Do

11:19

you know? You don't know what this like? The kind that you pay

11:21

for in Halloween to go in? Yeah,

11:23

yeah, yeah,

11:26

I want Tony Gonzalez, Kyle Turley,

11:28

and John Wellborn.

11:31

It's forty five minutes. But halfway

11:33

through, Tony Gonzalez starts going, I

11:36

don't want to do this any more. I don't do this any more. I don't and

11:38

he starts coming back. I'm liked, while you going back like it's

11:40

like swimming out halfway to a lake, and you swim

11:42

back like we're halfway through already. And

11:44

then they warned me not to get in a fight with any of the

11:46

monsters, and I'm like, you

11:48

got pop for steroids nineteen times, and Turley,

11:51

you're in freaking anger management and you guys

11:53

are warning me and jury ship. I

11:55

got in a fight with one of the ghouls because

11:58

they all the lights are out and

12:00

there are a lot of like they touch you and stuff. Right, don't get to

12:02

like with me. So the lights around. All of

12:04

a sudden, the lights are on and the school's

12:06

in my face. So I throw my obow up as a reaction

12:09

to defend myself against the walking

12:11

dead, and the guy just missed it.

12:13

And then he started talking to me, and I started talking

12:15

ship to him, and they had to like, hey, let's go. And

12:18

so of course only me, I'm gonna get a fight with a reference

12:21

he is talking about like when you're in eighth grade,

12:23

your mom drops you off.

12:25

They're scary, dude, and they're touching

12:27

you and they're like the lights again, touch yeah,

12:30

and they're grabbing your ankles and stuff. You're going over drawbridges

12:33

and there's no lights on. It's it's

12:35

the scariest shit I've done more

12:40

as I guess, maybe I'm thinking about it from like the

12:42

actor perspective. If I'm like working

12:44

there, I'm playing one of the zombies. I see you and Tony

12:46

Gonzalez and Turly where I'm like, all right,

12:48

let's not get too close yet, I went and still

12:51

instead they're trying to scare the big guys. Right,

12:54

let's not get too close. Touches

12:57

me. I'm a

12:58

up. Okay,

13:00

let's talk more about some googles on both teams.

13:03

Like I mentioned, I was just covering the Chiefs the other day, so

13:05

I gotta talk to some players and and be

13:07

right there on the sideline and talk to Isaiah Pacheco after

13:09

the game. And I kind of like, because

13:11

we do talk about Betty Dingles and props. I think

13:13

he's going to have a great game both playoff

13:15

games. He's had double digit carries. Philly

13:18

cannot stop the run and

13:20

they're limited at receiver. I think he's going to catch the ball out

13:22

of the backfield. When you look at like a guy

13:24

like that Rookie, I mean, what do you think some of

13:26

these guys that you talk so much about the mental game, A

13:28

guy who here I am predicting and having a great game numbers

13:31

wise, what do you think of rookie is going into this game.

13:33

There's two things. Either Rookie goes in and they're

13:35

so wide on and they're like, oh my god,

13:37

and they nerve up, or they

13:40

don't know what they don't know and it's just yeah,

13:43

yeah, it blames into him like that. Yeah, but

13:45

it's it's usually the former.

13:47

I don't think so though. He is so confident and really,

13:50

I don't think it's gonna get to him. Plus, and he has

13:52

so much experience, Like I'm sure they're

13:54

going through practice, So these coaches have

13:56

to change how you practice because they have to

13:58

say, okay, we do this now we

14:00

have to They haven't almost have to practice like

14:03

pregate warmps. Guys, we're gonna do this. We're gonna

14:05

go in now, and it's gonna be an extra half hour instead

14:08

of like normal, so you altost practice it. You

14:10

have to practice how you're gonna handle the cadence

14:12

for for halftime. He's been able

14:14

to do that. It's also like Andy will

14:16

tell those guys. Normally you get on the

14:18

field and you get it so jazzed up. Well, then all of

14:20

a sudden, there's so much pageantry you have to wait for

14:22

thirty five minutes. Guys sometimes will

14:25

gas out. He'll be able to make sure that

14:27

doesn't happen because he's been in so much.

14:29

That's where experience comes into play. You

14:31

talked about to like going to camps and stuff

14:33

like that. One thing I've always loved because you

14:36

know, knowing you all these years, I know when you would go leave

14:38

on like your camp tour and for

14:40

how long we've been doing that. I mean when

14:43

you start to go ahead, how many camps?

14:46

Now that's

14:49

the year is born. And I'm almost like she's like, don't

14:52

don't add too much after that? How

14:54

many is there? Like do you know going into

14:56

Honestly, the Chiefs used to be my favorite team

14:59

is there in River Falls, Wisconsin, and

15:01

that's why I learned about Cheese Kurds and now

15:04

glera spotted l that spotted cow.

15:06

And I was like and also like for me, I grew

15:08

up in Jersey, New York, so like this was like any time

15:10

USA was beautiful. I loved it. And I was like,

15:12

I stayed in this bed and breakfast, and I'd

15:14

stay at Cheese Camp longer than any other camps

15:16

because I became friends with these people around up again

15:19

and breakfast. Oh but let me tell you the worst

15:21

training camp storybol So,

15:23

I go onto this, I go out to this other team and

15:26

I get put up in like uh, I don't want to say

15:28

the hotel, but the rooms are like and

15:31

that's the only thing they had because some of these camps in the middle

15:33

of nowhere, and all of a sudden, this dude

15:35

was like Mr Glaziers just we have for you.

15:37

We have this like a smoking like twin

15:40

bedroom, like twin bed. What am my fu? Right?

15:44

So I was like, no, no, I mean what

15:46

Fox and I have to do. And he's like, no, no, He's

15:48

like, that's all we have. It's I'll tell you with the Ravens.

15:50

He's like, it's Ravens family weeks with every

15:53

hotels book is all that's do. It's all you have.

15:55

So I'm like, man, I'm staying in this crappy,

15:57

little dumpy place is freaking disgusting.

16:00

Its twenty nine bucks a night. And they're

16:02

like that's all. And the manager being a dick, so

16:04

he finally takes me. I go down the room and

16:07

I look up around the room and well,

16:09

I don't have a problem with the with the French fries

16:11

on the floor, the spiders and

16:13

the spider webs in the window, or the

16:15

pieces of wallpaper ripped off the wall,

16:18

but what the funk is up with all

16:20

the blood splattered all over this wall?

16:23

Yes? Yes, yes, yes. So I walked

16:25

back down and I tell the manager you come

16:27

with me. He's like Mr Glazers. I said, hey,

16:29

dude, we can do this easy way the hard way. You're

16:31

coming around to this room, and you're coming

16:33

in his room with me. So I come down, bring him down.

16:36

And by the way, I'm supposed to go in there, I'm supposed to be Rex

16:38

Ryan and Mike Patton for dinner, who are coaches

16:40

for the Ravens the top. So I said, you're coming

16:42

with me? And I said, hey, man, I don't got

16:44

a problem with the spiders over the French Fries, but dude, what

16:46

the fund is up with the blood all over the wall.

16:49

And he literally says to me, oh,

16:51

oh, yeah, I gotta call the housekeeping about I

16:54

said housekeeping, yeah,

16:57

homeland security. What are you calling the house

17:00

But it just happens all the time. Are you serious?

17:02

He's like, gonna come down, so what you can slaughter me? I

17:04

said, what's going on? Mr? Mr? We'll

17:07

get you another room. I said, you said there's no other rooms. He goes,

17:09

well, not at this price point. I was like, well,

17:11

I can't like so no. So

17:13

he's like, oh, He's

17:15

like, I'll get you the best hotel room

17:17

in town. Well, the best hotel room town is across

17:19

the street at this end that is a

17:22

converted schoolhouse like the freaking SI. So

17:25

he puts me in there, so I called Rex

17:27

Ryan and Mike Patton. I said, hey, you guys at

17:29

the publicity, Yeah, I need you to get the biggest

17:32

steak knives you have over there. I need you

17:34

to come over and meet me at this hotel because I'm

17:36

sleeping with these knives on this hotel. And that's yeah,

17:38

that was my guest

17:40

room. And and the Giant one time. What

17:43

did you don't don't don't make me? U said about the Giant.

17:45

This is when I was so broke. I didn't have enough

17:48

money for to like stay, so I didn't find

17:50

a place to stay. And my cousin had a frat house

17:52

up there at the University of Albany, but

17:54

he has but he hasn't used it

17:57

yet. And I walked

17:59

in and it was a converted crack house

18:02

which they hadn't cleaned yet. And I

18:04

drove up on a motorcycle, so I had like somebody

18:07

bop tissues. Assistant drove up, like my

18:09

clothes for me, right, and I couldn't get any

18:11

of the bedrooms, so like the TV is knocked

18:13

over the couch and I'm gonna have to sleep on his burnt

18:15

out So I take my clothes and I

18:17

put it out to sleep on this and

18:20

in the middle of the night, this six

18:23

ft seven I still don't

18:25

know if there's a guy or gallery, but in a bathrobe,

18:27

shower, capa and jeans comes climbing

18:29

into the window to like shoot up, and

18:32

I'm like, what you

18:34

got? The wrong house you got? And I am crapping

18:37

my paths. I throw an Arizona ice tea bottle. This thing

18:39

he runs or sheet whatever runs out the window.

18:42

And I called stray in the next day because I had no sheet,

18:44

no nothing, And Michael stole or

18:46

borrowed sheets and pillows

18:49

from the giants to bring to me so

18:51

I could use and this crack thing and

18:53

then more steak knives so I could defend

18:55

myself on

18:59

the show. I'm I'm this is

19:01

like I wrote a mental health book this year, but it's

19:03

all this other stuff. If you have to do three

19:05

things, you have to pick one of these three things you have to do again.

19:07

You have to go through the haunted house in Kansas City, you have

19:10

to stay in the blood spill out of room in Baltimore,

19:12

or you have to stay at the crack den where

19:15

the giant. Which one you have to pick one? Which

19:17

one when you go through again, if Straham will steal

19:19

the stuff from me again, and I could stay on and

19:22

I'm weaponized, Yeah, I'd go there and

19:24

Arizona bottles, you

19:27

remember the bottom those bottles are

19:29

a little extra, Yeah, big little, bigger.

19:32

But there. Let me tell you something. I we're tough,

19:35

but when someone breaks in the

19:37

way your heart like you are, it

19:39

is like, like I just I just throw it. I was

19:41

like, I wasn't a tough guy that I thought I was. I was

19:43

like crapping. What's amazing is you didn't hang

19:46

You didn't say this is the end of Jay Glazers camp

19:48

tours. You kept going. It was night one. It

19:50

was the first night of the entire kids forty

19:52

days. That could have been it. It could the whole Yeah, and

19:55

this is back then. I was getting four

19:57

hundred and fifty bucks a year from New York one TV and

20:00

the New York Post is paying me two d article.

20:02

That was my whole yearly salary. So I had to be there,

20:04

but they wouldn't pay for anything. So the only way I was

20:06

getting paid I had to be there to

20:08

break some news on the giants and use

20:11

other sources for jets or whoever else to

20:13

break news. So I had to be there, and I had to be there,

20:15

and I hadn't enough money to pay for anything. So

20:17

I went on for eleven years. As you know, as you

20:19

do, know everyone and talk to everyone, especially

20:22

after last night getting all that face to face

20:24

time. Do you have a lean in this game? No,

20:26

because it's again it's the boxing brawler, Like you

20:28

know, they try and take away that run. Like

20:31

even look, let's say you try and take away the run for Philly,

20:33

right and you're gonna go, Okay, We're gonna try

20:35

and see if if Jalen could step

20:37

up in this game. But if you put those rookies

20:40

on an island against those two receivers man and then

20:42

and even Dallas Cottard, like man,

20:44

it's just it's kind of picked your poison. But so I've

20:46

been thinking it's on Jalen too, Like Jalen needs step

20:48

up big in this game because I think they're gonna put the pressure on him.

20:51

Yeah, I bought in a little bit. My Super Bowl picks

20:53

were Eagles Bengals, and after watching

20:55

that Bengals Bills game, I definitely Do

20:58

you think I wondered about this because I and

21:00

I've even asked athletes like straighthand like the

21:02

bulletin boards stuff? Does that really? Guy?

21:05

Like? Look they need things like that?

21:07

Well they look they make stuff up there,

21:09

like Jordan did they make stuff up in their mind? Ye?

21:11

I thought the Bengals got a little what do you

21:14

know about that? Sorry to cut you off, I can't say. I

21:17

can't say, can you elaborate what you

21:19

mean? Though? They'll find reasons

21:22

they are someone on their team has been disrespected.

21:25

You're like, all right, yeah,

21:28

like which normally doesn't even exist.

21:30

So Chief's Bengal's week was amazing finish. That

21:32

was easy for them. That I'm saying the Bengals.

21:36

The mayor of Cincinnati pissed him off beyond

21:38

belief, like why would you do that? Like

21:41

don't It's like when people just talk

21:43

about Brady, like what are you doing? What are you doing?

21:45

Don't do that? And he does the same thing.

21:47

Between this playoffs

21:50

has been tougher mayors. Not that Adams

21:53

had anything to do with the Empire State Building being lit

21:55

up green, but he made some comments

21:57

about Kyrie Irving. I'm like, you need to go investigate who

21:59

lit up the Empire State Building and green and

22:01

White it's like the worst thing ever. But yeah, I thought that

22:04

the Cincinnati mayor just why would

22:06

you, like, why would you? Why would you be the

22:08

one that fires up the best

22:10

player in the NFL? Like what are you doing? Hey,

22:13

Kelly? She was right, No, your freaking place

22:15

and that ain't it. And Kelsey is another one who like

22:19

him. He was training with us also, he

22:22

was filming that reality show remember the dating Kelsey

22:24

thing. Oh you're killing him over there. And I still

22:26

don't understand how I

22:29

love to bet like first touchdown of the game

22:31

anytime, and I'm like, it can't be Kelsey.

22:33

And he's always open, right, he always gets a touchdown

22:35

always and you got the first touchdown in that he's

22:37

like Cooper cup Like how are they always open? It's unbelievable.

22:40

And just they know how to separate at the right time and how

22:43

to you know, how to sell it to get somebody

22:45

go where they're not. Walk us through what Sunday

22:47

will look like for you? Obviously Fox is hosting and

22:49

you're hosting pregame show. Walk us through the pregame

22:52

show. What are you talking about for five?

22:54

I don't know. Our production meeting Thursdays

22:58

production meeting Thursday. Here's what's

23:00

great about our show. We don't rehearse like

23:02

when you see us on Sunday. That's

23:04

the first time we're saying like, we don't rehearse like we

23:07

say we'll do a two hour show at a military

23:09

base. We have no rehearsal nothing. We are.

23:11

We just know each other so well. And our producer,

23:14

Bill Richards gives us really the room for

23:16

us to be us, and then he'll wrap us when we

23:18

need a wrap and when Brash Shawn I are kind of go off the deep

23:20

end and he'll make sure we don't get in trouble. But for

23:22

the most part, there's no other TV show

23:25

that can do this. And here's the other thing. This

23:27

is my family. Like we are. We love

23:29

each other. We hang out constantly, offseason,

23:32

in season, hang out constantly. No

23:34

other show hands out like the amount we do. Holidays

23:36

together, best man at each other's weddings, godfather

23:39

of each other's children. You know, I adopted my son

23:41

Sammy, and I leaned into Howie

23:43

Long and how to be a dad, and like really

23:46

learned. I talked now about mental health. Terry

23:48

Bradshaw is the first who really talked about it. I lean

23:50

on him. Now he leans on me when we're struggling. We tell

23:53

each other like what other show doesn't like, like

23:55

hey, each cann the other days like, man, I'm having

23:57

a bad day between the years, I need you just say anything. I just

23:59

need somebody understands, Like that's

24:01

how close we are. And then two

24:03

weeks ago, I had a bad, really bad,

24:06

dark gray attack about half hour

24:08

before our show. Well I felt like crying and

24:10

like my depression just got so bad

24:13

to me where I felt like the sky was falling and and

24:15

my world was ending. And I told Kurt

24:18

and Stray and kurts

24:20

like I'm gonna take in the room right now and talk

24:22

like do you want to Like I'm here, what do you want? What do

24:25

you need for me? And he's trying to get ready for the show. What

24:27

do you need for me? And that's our family.

24:29

That's what we do for each other. And that's what I tell

24:31

everybody out there with the mental health work that I'm doing now,

24:33

you need to find your team. And teams could be

24:35

you know, God, or your kids, or your wife

24:38

or your hunt, but they deserve to know what's going

24:40

on with you so they could be good teammates. To

24:42

you also because they want to be good teammates for

24:44

you. Yeah, it shows like you know as

24:46

far as the like a pregame show and stuff

24:49

like that, your guys friendship just like

24:52

that's what everyone tunes in. Like, of course you want the

24:54

scoop from you, We want the insight from everyone.

24:56

But we're rolling part and you're writing us into your

24:58

house every weekend for a year some years and finished

25:01

how many years now has it been? Do you know that? I

25:04

think so Howie and Terry and Jimmy thirty

25:06

me and Kurt's twenties strays like fifteen.

25:09

So yeah, it's crazy, right,

25:11

yeah, crazy, but that's fami. Let's we

25:14

just we love each other so much. I was just we're

25:16

all together right before, like we've been together today, we're

25:18

together last night. We're just and then not just us,

25:21

our executives. We hang out with. Our executives

25:23

constantly hang out like our producers

25:26

and our our CEO and our president and our executive

25:29

producers and our executive vice president. We

25:31

literally all hang out. It's incredible. For those

25:33

who don't follow your podcast Unbreakable,

25:35

it's a fantastic podcast and you have

25:38

so many great people on in sports and outside of

25:40

sports, so it's not just a sports got Fietti

25:42

on this week. Who's dude? Yeah? Who?

25:44

Like, no one really knows his story, how

25:47

he got to where he got to, he didn't tell it and

25:49

he opens up any I've been one

25:51

of his best friends for a long time. I didn't

25:53

realize I didn't know the whole thing from how it started

25:56

to where he is. Yeah, I had no idea. Man, that's

25:59

great. Jay. Can't thank you know, I love

26:01

you. Definitely not a light week for you. Yes,

26:06

you are. Everybody else we congrats,

26:09

thank you every year. I hope this never wears

26:11

up. You know what never does? I always act

26:13

so every single Super Bowl mat go

26:16

take a little step on the side, And I always tell every

26:18

head coach to do the same thing. In their first head coaching

26:20

job, I'll find a little somewhere a boy

26:22

myself and I would literally look up to God and thank

26:24

you my best friend God. I can't believe

26:26

I'm in here. I'm here, and I'm never gonna act

26:29

like like yeah, I've been

26:31

there before, Like then, this is unbelievable. I'm still

26:33

waiting to wake up in fifth grade, none of this happened. So

26:35

I always want to feel that way, so I'm yeah,

26:37

I live in gratitude with that, and I try and get every head

26:39

coach to do the same thing in their first ever game. That

26:42

love that, j and love you. You're the best. Thank you,

26:45

enjoy your enjoyed Monday, anybody

26:50

Again, we're talking mental health a little bit. Still got

26:52

my book out there, Unbreakable, How I turned my

26:54

depression, anxiety and motivation. You can too, And

26:56

there's a lot of football stories in there that will

26:58

make you laugh your ass off and I got fired

27:01

up my podcast absolutely Unbreakable

27:04

a mental health podcast, but we talk a lot of sheet on there.

27:06

So it's good. Jay Glazer, everyone,

27:08

Thanks Jake. I appreciate you.

27:19

He's one of one. Do you see why I say,

27:21

like when I talk about like my l a

27:24

big brother, it was absolutely j

27:26

for all the reasons, but yeah, just I

27:28

mean the fact that he's so humble and grateful

27:30

too. I think that is exactly why people

27:33

take to him so well. But yeah,

27:35

he's definitely takes some time off and he's gonna hit like forty

27:38

camps. There's not even teams, He's gonna hit forty

27:40

camps in the summer. I

27:43

told you before we started though, we're not going to get anything.

27:46

He's not gonna lean one way. It just he just

27:48

he keeps it pro like you gotta watch on Sunday.

27:50

If he has an inkling or a scoop or something, it's

27:52

gonna come out Sunday morning. Did you notice

27:54

the one thing he dangled right in front of us, which

27:57

I'm thinking is going to be his scoop on Sunday

27:59

is Patrick mah Holmes has to make

28:01

up bolt and board material. He

28:03

clammed up right when he started to give us something good.

28:06

And I think he's gonna really share an

28:08

interesting story on Sunday. That's my guests. Well, I think

28:10

if the and and the Eagles are smart by the way,

28:12

I think the Eagles are good at trash talking and knowing

28:14

when and knowing how. And I don't think. I don't think.

28:16

I mean, if it's gonna be something, it's probably

28:19

something really small that gets turned

28:21

into something way bigger. So this way, there's

28:23

some bolletin board there. But don't give them any I

28:25

mean they already do. They're they're an underdog. Patrick

28:28

mahomes as an underdog is eight and one and

28:30

one versus spread six and three straight

28:33

up. We've already kind of talked off

28:35

camera, and we talked last week on Unleashed with Brad

28:37

Evans, but we're both leaning Chiefs

28:39

last week. Where are you at now? I think I've

28:41

I'm back on Philly. I just still because

28:43

I look at the offensive and didn't know. But I don't think

28:45

I was leaning Kansas City last week. I don't think that.

28:50

But I still just look at the lines. I look

28:52

at the Eagles offensive and defensive

28:54

line, and I just think it's gonna be too much

28:57

to overcome. But I do think it's gonna be a great game,

28:59

but will be shocked if Mahomes like lights

29:01

it up. And when's the closest one? Now? I think

29:03

we're at the point now where and this is why this all

29:05

feels so long the whole week. We

29:08

need them to play, you know. Hassan

29:10

Reddick, my guy who we're going to talk about with Peter

29:12

Andrew later and we start talking about some of our Super Bowl

29:14

props and stuff like that. He tweeted

29:16

what everyone was thinking this morning. He was like, it's

29:18

only Tuesday, dot dot dot,

29:21

Like that would scare me a little bit to know somewhere

29:23

Reddick is just in a hotel room, just like seething

29:26

to get at this game. So we

29:28

talked a little bit with J two about experience and

29:31

that when the lights are on and

29:33

you have two weeks to hear nothing but good

29:36

and bad things about your team, younger players

29:38

contend to either clam up get

29:40

overwhelmed. You might kind of forget something

29:42

that otherwise would have come naturally. And I think that's

29:45

the Chief's biggest edge. And I am leaning Chiefs

29:47

and I like one and a half. I really

29:49

like a money line at plus money. I still

29:51

think that's kind of the best bet. I think

29:54

that's the play. But we were just talking before

29:56

we started. The Chiefs have thirty players

29:59

who have played in the Super Bowl before the Eagles

30:01

have ten. I feel like that could be

30:03

a big difference. Not to mention the coaching staff, I

30:05

think when yes, when it comes to the experience,

30:08

all of it, Andy Reid, thirty players, we're

30:10

gonna see, We're gonna learn a lot about all the

30:12

kind of tropes that we always talk about experience

30:14

for his rookies and bullet to all that stuff

30:17

is gonna get answered on Sunday, and hopefully

30:19

we're all on the right side of it, betting

30:21

wise, so we can also make some money while we learned

30:23

some stuff about it. But it's been a great

30:26

it's been a really really great season.

30:28

I mean it's very exciting. Okay, a little trivia because

30:31

I was trying to stump Jerry with this earlier who

30:33

is an Eagles player and we'll see on Twitter

30:35

if people can tweet live to us. Yeah, let's

30:38

see if you know his answer? If you know who

30:40

is the Eagles player playing in their third

30:43

Super Bowl and he's one and one right,

30:45

well I will stress yes, as I just have to say he's

30:48

not two and oh in the super Bowl going

30:50

into his third is one and one because I was thrown because

30:52

I was trying to think, who's about to win their third Super Bowl?

30:54

And three teams? Are we

30:56

gonna answer it? Anyone anyone

30:59

answering? Isaac shout if someone tweets

31:01

at us. So that's one I want to dangle

31:03

in front of everyone. If anyone tweets back at us and answer,

31:06

let's see if anyone gets it. The other one was

31:08

there's a chief player playing in his

31:10

fourth Super Bowl? Do

31:12

you know who that is? It has

31:14

to be someone on like the offensive

31:17

line, which I'll forgive me. I don't don't you

31:19

don't know the chief starting five offensive line. I think I know

31:21

four of the who is it? Can

31:23

you give that one to the audience now? No, I'm going

31:25

to dangle that one too. I want y'all

31:27

to interact with us. I want you to tweet at us. Go

31:29

ahead and tweet at me directly so I can see

31:32

and at bet MGM, y'all holler if we get

31:34

someone. So those are two little, good, good

31:36

trivia facts. But in general, Chiefs

31:38

experience experience, experience. Mahomes and

31:40

Kelsey it's their third together alone.

31:43

Andy Reid's fourth. Eric b Enemy, the offensive

31:45

coordinator, it's his third. I mean, this Chief's

31:47

team knows how to handle this

31:49

week. They know how to handle the two weeks

31:52

here. I mean, I just how can

31:54

you not like the Chiefs in the spot? I just here's what I

31:56

keep coming back to. It's been the Eagles all

31:58

year, meaning they

32:00

had decent hype out of the preseason, and

32:03

then they were a juggernaut through the first

32:05

what would they go nine and oh, ten and o whatever before

32:07

they lost. Then they had that little slide with the

32:09

injuries, and then they rolled yes, it has been

32:11

they charmed playoff

32:14

run, meaning you know you get to play the Giants

32:16

and the Niners without a quarterback. I

32:18

get all that, but maybe this I just think it's just their

32:21

year. I think things have broke their way and

32:23

I think that they've been the team

32:25

all year. This might be can they get The question for

32:27

me is can they go wire to wire? And

32:30

yes, if you take out Mahomes, that will answer any

32:32

doubts about about the TV. And they're just stacked,

32:35

even when when they were drafting last year and they got a

32:37

J. Brown and they added think they're just loaded.

32:40

And I don't think the Chiefs are loaded. Okay,

32:42

let me tell you what I'm now thinking. As we're getting

32:44

closer to the super Bowl, and all you hear is talk talk talking,

32:47

and we're doing the same thing. We're talk talk talking. But

32:49

I feel like if the Chiefs

32:52

can lean on their run game, we

32:54

know how good that Eagles defensive friend is, they

32:56

are going to give Mahomes no time. No, Kelsey's

32:59

is comfortable get that's his first check

33:01

and quadruple teams

33:04

I mentioned

33:06

with Jay, I like Isaiah Pacheco, the rookie

33:08

running back Derrick McKinnon is back as well. Clyde

33:10

Edwards Hilaire is activated. He's back.

33:12

He whoa really? Yes, that I

33:14

haven't heard in a long time. He hasn't played since November.

33:17

So one of his odds are for first touchdown

33:19

probably a bajillion the one. Yeah you like

33:21

it? No, I don't like it at all. So

33:24

at least favorite back Checko has had double digit

33:26

carries in both playoff games. He's

33:28

hot, he's confident, he catches the ball out

33:30

of the backfield. I like Pacheco

33:32

stats and we're gonna talk more props with Peter Andrew.

33:35

But I feel like this is the Chief's advantage

33:38

if they can do it. And I mentioned Eagles

33:41

run defense is horrible. There twenty four in the NFL

33:43

in YOURDS per carry allowed, So

33:46

if the Chiefs can just dile this one up. I love

33:48

Andy Reid scouting, and if

33:50

I can find this advantage, yeah,

33:53

listen, I I hear you. I'm not

33:55

discounting what the Chiefs could do and would not be

33:58

shocked. But again, I just come back to I just look

34:00

at the weapons on both sides of the ball,

34:03

and I think after Mahomes

34:05

and like, all right, if you want to go by skill. You have Kelsey,

34:07

and I think the next bunch of players after

34:10

that, I think you name like five Eagles before you get

34:12

to the next chief. Like, if you're

34:14

going skill position outside of the quarterbacks, you go Kelsey,

34:16

then I think you're really in like Mileston

34:19

or a J. Brown divide. They said, then I think

34:21

you could come to Pacheco, and then I think you dip back

34:23

to the I just dip back to the Eagles. For god,

34:25

I think you're naming like four eagles after Kelsey.

34:27

So to me, yes, if can Mahomes, Pacheco

34:30

and Kelsey put up enough points? Yeah, no,

34:32

I'm with you. Which injury to the quarterback bothers

34:35

you more? More? I guess I think

34:37

the Mahomes one scared. Well, it's weird because he's

34:39

overcoming. We just heard j just talk about how

34:41

he's the greatest healer of all

34:44

time, superhuman superhuman X

34:46

men level mutant healing ability.

34:48

So I guess I can't say Mahomes,

34:51

but I just I look at the placement

34:53

of the injury. I mean, I think Hurts is good to go. I

34:55

don't. I don't think the injury, I mean the adrenaline that's

34:57

going to be going through and whatever else. I don't

34:59

think the ares are gonna factor.

35:01

I think when Mahomes played the Bucks with that injury,

35:03

I think that injury was a big bigger factor than

35:06

this one. And he said so too. Yeah, yeah,

35:08

okay, let me tell you a play. I like. I like the ender. It

35:11

started opened at forty nine and a half. Now it's

35:13

fifty and a half. I like the ender in the super

35:15

Bowl. First of all, all seven playoff games, the under

35:17

hip, so hello, and

35:19

then all seven the under hit.

35:22

And then I like the

35:24

under in the super Bowl because the super Bowl attracts

35:27

more casual betters, so

35:30

they're driving up the number because a lot of people don't have

35:32

skin in the game. Unless you're a fan

35:34

of the two teams left standing, you kind of don't care.

35:36

You just want to watch all the you

35:38

know, the the opening, the anthem,

35:40

the halftime, that all that. You're just excited

35:43

to watch the game. You want to see scoring, you

35:45

want to see touchdowns, you want to see all these stars we've

35:47

just mentioned. So everyone's hammering the over.

35:50

I think as the week goes

35:52

on, you wait and see what the numbers at. But

35:55

I think it's gonna be I think it's gonna be

35:57

the ender. So I like that under fifty and a half. I like

35:59

that call, and I also think that favors

36:01

your narrative being a Chiefs fan and

36:03

wanting the Chiefs to win the game, because I think, uh,

36:06

I don't know if the Chiefs will win a can you win a shootout

36:09

with the Eagles? So I think for in order for the Chiefs to

36:11

win, which is kind of what you're hoping for, I

36:13

do think it needs to be a little bit muddier of a game,

36:15

a little bit lower scoring. I don't know if it's

36:18

turns into a shootout, although I love my homes and

36:20

the shootout again, I just go back to the

36:22

offensive weapons that I think Till's

36:24

But I just think the Eagles defense,

36:27

to your point with the under, is going to have a lot to

36:29

say about the scoring in this game too.

36:31

That defense. I've watched them three times up

36:33

close and then obviously tracked them the whole year,

36:36

and they have had the most terrifying defense

36:38

in the league. That's no disrespect to the Niners or

36:40

the Cowboys or anyone else. I've

36:42

been the most terrified, even as a Giants fan of

36:45

the Eagles defense this year. As

36:47

I mentioned everyone placing bets

36:49

on this game. I've got to give a shout out for something

36:51

I just read a couple of hours before we started. Over

36:53

fifty million adults are going to

36:55

be betting on the Big Game, sixteen

36:58

billion dollars. And by the way, the

37:00

percentage of people betting is up

37:03

six from last year. Obviously,

37:05

four more states of legalized, so that is

37:07

a lot more people, but the same

37:09

amount of people who run are

37:12

runners in the United States

37:14

are betting on the Super Bowl. I just

37:16

hope, And I've been a liberal.

37:19

I've been a little disrespectful this year

37:22

of kickers. I think we all have. I've begged

37:24

for the extra point to get moved back up. Why

37:26

we have to watch for I just hope.

37:29

I pray for both the kicker's sake, not for mine

37:31

as a fan, for the kicker's sake, that we are not going

37:33

to be in a situation where Harrison Booker

37:35

come out of field for a forty two yard field

37:38

goal. As sentiments, I just don't want to say, don't

37:40

you feel I do? And that's

37:42

why I guess I'm afraid of and I just don't want to see

37:44

it. It's been a rough year with kickers, and I'm so down

37:47

on kicking as a part of football at this point,

37:49

and maybe because so many of my bets have been destroyed

37:52

by an extra point. We got our people

37:54

going oh for four for extra points, so I

37:57

just really hope it just doesn't come down to that. And

37:59

that's I think one prop I do like, and we'll

38:01

talk more about it with Peter when he comes on the Harrison

38:04

Bucker made kicks one I

38:06

just like under two reasons. I don't trust

38:08

the kicking made field goals. I don't

38:10

trust kickers at in general. But also

38:13

I think again for the Chiefs to win, if they

38:15

get closer, they're gonna have to go for it on four. I think they're

38:17

gonna have to get touchdowns. I don't think they could settle

38:19

unless it's that kind of game. I mean, I don't think they could

38:21

settle for field goal field goal.

38:23

I think if it's fourth and four, I want to put

38:26

the ball in Mahomes's hand and not on the on the leg

38:28

of someone else, So then you steell like over under.

38:31

I like the under. I think you can think he'll make one,

38:34

and then yeah, I don't even want

38:36

to. My brain cannot even handle

38:40

extra points. I don't want to think about them anymore.

38:42

I've got to just bring up one more stack, because

38:44

I've got my little list here and I've I've I'm

38:46

trying to convince you on the Chiefs, and that's what my

38:48

job here is that here,

38:51

um the other one. Brad Evans told us on

38:54

last week's episode of Unleash and its strength

38:56

of schedule, the Chiefs had the number sixteen

38:59

ranked strength of schedule, the Eagles

39:01

thirty one. And this is a

39:04

noisy wavers, You're

39:06

about to get a stat. This is this one. This

39:09

is a good one. I think this one's legit. This is a good one.

39:11

And when the two teams meeting in the Super

39:13

Bowl have a difference of

39:16

ten spots in strength of schedule, which

39:18

is this time since two thousand four,

39:20

the team with the harder strength of schedule

39:22

goes ten and two into did

39:25

I describe that? So yeah, let

39:27

me just recap that, because ye, yes,

39:30

if there is ten spot difference between

39:32

strength of schedule, that team with the hard

39:34

schedule tendon to uh. I

39:36

think that's a worthy stat And that does say something

39:39

and and it goes off

39:41

to I mean, it definitely didn't seem

39:43

to change when you look at the playoff run

39:46

and what the Eagles had to do to get into the super

39:48

Bowl compared to what the Chiefs had to do and

39:51

overcome. So it's a great case. It's

39:53

a great case. I'm not going to waiver from what I

39:55

thought a few weeks ago. I'm still on the Eagles.

39:57

It's a it's a great case. And

40:00

like I'm starting to just get at this point, like I'm more interested

40:02

in the props now. Yes, I'm interested the game. Eagles.

40:05

Sure, congrats Philly, Casey whatever,

40:08

Ready for some some prop that's I

40:10

really want to hit that first touchdown.

40:12

That's just such a great way to start a wild parlay

40:15

if you can get that first touchdown score

40:17

of the game. But you're really just like

40:19

throwing a bunch of cards in the air and hoping at that

40:22

point. But okay, I want to hear another weird when I got oh

40:24

and this is in the order to sway me to the Chiefs.

40:27

Sure the teams teams that don't

40:30

wear white are twenty

40:32

and thirty six. You know what

40:34

the Chiefs are wearing? Wait can you

40:36

say hold on? I feel like you just did

40:39

something political. It's got confused. I

40:41

think you just did something political. Where you right?

40:45

So the team that where's white does

40:47

better? Can't just so hic saying the team

40:49

that doesn't wear white is twenty and thirty

40:51

six. I'm not that smart

40:55

and apparently I'm not either because I got

40:57

I tripped myself up. I'm not okay,

41:00

one more thing because then we're going to get to the real stuff with

41:02

Peter Andrew later. But heads or tails, you

41:04

would think odds right? Not so

41:07

fast, my friend, That is not true. Tails

41:10

hits fifty two percent of the time. Wouldn't

41:12

you think too? Here's a hot take. I'm not going to

41:14

bet this, but people love to bet on the gatorade

41:17

color and all that stuff. Now, I believe when

41:19

the Chiefs won the Super Bowl a few years ago it

41:22

was like the yellow kind of

41:24

which is the best and should be the only one. But now,

41:26

me being crazy super I bet

41:29

that if I cared about that bet. I don't,

41:31

but if I were, I would bet whatever it was when

41:33

the Chiefs one a few years ago, because

41:35

if you are superstitious, you'd stick

41:38

with what works. Are you saying now that you think

41:40

the Chiefs will win? I'm not saying. What

41:42

I want to know is more importantly the year they lost.

41:44

What was that color? Because that's not going to be

41:46

the color they're going with. No

41:49

one knows. No one knows the gatorade color of

41:51

the team he lost. Jay Glazer probably knows.

41:53

He probably did anyone to tell us. So let's

41:55

finish up with saying the trivia that

41:57

we dingled. Okay, let's go of

42:00

the Eagles answer. Well, the Eagles answer, which

42:02

I found it, and and his name came up. I was

42:04

on shore. I mean, I knew he was still in the league, but uh,

42:06

and he's a great, great player, and domckinsue

42:09

and he's playing his third Super Bowl. But then

42:11

then we had the whole run of wait a minute, so

42:14

did he go Rams win? Bucks

42:17

win? And that was about is he going for his third?

42:20

No, he wasn't on the Rams. He

42:22

was on the Rams loss with God, lost

42:25

that one one with Brady and the Bucks, and now

42:27

he's back for his third and four years,

42:30

which is incredible, absolutely incredible.

42:32

Okay, so that was a good one. I thought, good little trivia,

42:34

that's a great one. First,

42:37

aligneman Joe Touney for the Chiefs

42:40

playing in his fourth Super Bowl

42:42

four so three

42:44

with the Chiefs. I wonder who that other one was

42:46

with. No, this is the fourth. The Chiefs

42:48

made the Super Bowl four times. We'll

42:52

figure that out. Well, listen, why don't let's get

42:54

to Peter while we find that out for everyone

42:56

watching? And Uh, I'm

42:58

dying to get to some props. I gotta know because Pete

43:02

Pete peeked at the right time. So everyone watching on

43:04

the live stay tuned. Peter Andrew's coming

43:06

up, and uh, we're gonna get to some props because

43:08

it's time. All

43:20

right. First off, we've got to give major shout out

43:22

because people did answer our trivia question

43:24

correctly and that was young easy

43:27

Chase, Brundage and Dawson, So thank

43:29

you guys. And in the break, we've

43:31

had an amazing idea. You had

43:33

an amazing You're

43:36

going to give out a bonus bet. I'm gonna do one more trivia

43:39

question and we're going to be giving out a bonus bet

43:41

if you tweet at us your answered if you get

43:43

it. So you guys can't say the answer, but you can

43:45

think about it. And then at the end of this segment

43:48

we will announce what the answer is. And hand out

43:50

bonus bets. So trigger

43:52

fingers turn to Twitter fingers, let me know your answer.

43:55

So the question is, when was the last

43:57

time a player one regular season

43:59

and VP and went on to win the

44:02

Super Bowl. And I'll give you a hint. It's longer

44:04

ago than you'd think. Eli

44:07

Man and I'm kidding, so tweeted

44:09

as your answer. All right, now we welcome in Peter Andrew,

44:12

our bet MGM betting expert slash

44:14

analyst. It depends how he did that week. But since

44:16

there was no game last week, you're

44:18

an expert. So Pete, this is

44:20

obviously this is the mecca. We know what

44:22

we're talking about. We know why you're here. Prop

44:25

bets to me, especially with the Super Bowl, it's an

44:27

art form and it's usually a very hard

44:29

art form to pull up. So first

44:31

of all, how are you feeling going into this Sunday

44:34

with the props? Are you're feeling like? It's clear?

44:36

I know there's a big prop thing that the

44:38

bet MGM is doing, so just you must your

44:40

brain must be overloaded with props. Props is the

44:42

theme for the next couple of days. So the hundred

44:44

thousand dollar Big Game prop that challenge you guys are

44:47

part of it. I know you gave some picks as well. Yes, we

44:49

two winners, by the way, two winners, so everybody

44:52

will hear those in the next couple of days. Every

44:54

customer on bet mgm can participate. It's

44:56

completely free to play. It's amazing. All you have

44:58

to do is pick the fifteen different ops you see them

45:00

when you go onto bed mgm dot com. And the person

45:03

who either guess is the most correctly or

45:05

the perfect amount hundred thousand dollars in your

45:07

pockets a tiny little amount of a hundred

45:09

thousands, hundred big deal. All you need to

45:11

do is be registered in a verified customer

45:14

very easy, and he guess correctly

45:16

the most or the perfect amount hundred

45:19

dollars in your pocket. I'm going to give out one

45:21

of my picks now really quick, because I already said it on the

45:23

show, and then you'll get the other one in the video.

45:25

But I went under Harrison Bucker

45:27

one and a half field goals because I just don't

45:30

want there to be more field goals and I

45:32

just feel like the Chiefs will have to actually go

45:34

for it on fourth down when they're when

45:36

they have a chance to to score. So I

45:39

just don't want a four four

45:41

field goals plus

45:43

money plus one. Do you want to know what extra points

45:46

was? Since you asked Alf,

45:49

Chiefs are scoring right? Is he

45:51

making all of the extra points just

45:53

because he gets to attempt one? Kansas

45:57

City especially kind

45:59

of the theme of my picks two is if Philly

46:01

goes up early and and fast, they're

46:04

not gonna be kicking field goals. It just can't happen because

46:06

Philly can stomp on your throat and next

46:08

thing you know, it's twenty one seven

46:10

and game gets out of hand. So I'm with you. I think the unders

46:13

that was myne and I'll get my other one

46:15

in the video, but that was one of my picks in the product. Alright,

46:17

So where do we begin? I

46:20

want to begin. I've been hounding the Chiefs

46:22

this whole time and trying to convince Jerry. Last

46:25

week when we had Brad Evans on, he said Chief's

46:27

money line plus money, and he said, but get it

46:29

now because it'll change. It's still plus money. What do you

46:31

make of that? I think we're waiting on And Jason,

46:33

who we were playing golf with today we're talking about this. I think

46:35

we're waiting on one report of Patrick

46:38

Mahomes ankle, and once it, once

46:40

that does happen, obviously the money will start funneling

46:42

in. We took a huge bed on the Eagles this week

46:44

A million dollars went close to seven

46:46

and eight hundred thousand dollars, So that

46:49

line is uh is

46:52

leaning. I mean it's favoring Eagles

46:54

right now. But I still think as you get into Thursdays

46:57

against Friday and Saturday, you're gonna start to see

46:59

that money transition. You just need that one glimmer

47:01

of hope that Mames is because

47:03

last week he was not a don't you think last

47:06

night was it? That's why I thought the number would change today

47:08

because all the reports coming out of the opening night

47:10

where he's super human. Jay Glazer himself,

47:13

he's amazing, He's healed, said

47:15

he's the greatest healer of all time,

47:17

like no one heals faster, he said on this

47:19

show a lot and a couple days, I didn't

47:21

move the number. Yeah, I think you'll start to see the late money

47:24

coming in. So I'd say by Friday, by Saturday,

47:26

you're gonna start to see that transition. I was sort

47:28

of feeling good about this player, and it

47:30

was gonna figure out the way to work him into a

47:32

bet. And then John Ewing comes in with

47:34

the over the top jumps off the top

47:37

rope on Twitter, and again if you don't follow

47:39

John Ewing at John Ewing, and he

47:41

tweeted not long ago a better at bet

47:43

MGM wager on

47:46

Kenneth Gainwell at plus twelve

47:48

thousand, five hundred to win Super Bowl m v P

47:52

pays out three and twelve thousand.

47:54

I'm worried it's a game too late because he kind of had

47:56

the awesome game already. But that's a sneaky

47:58

good pick. Yeah, sneak key good pick. And

48:01

this is going into My first pick is over

48:03

under his nineteen and a half rushing yards.

48:05

That is a low number. And

48:08

the way they use their spellbacks, especially if they get

48:10

that early lead and they really want to control the tempo

48:12

of the game, you gotta imagine

48:14

that him and Boston Scott are gonna be getting significant

48:16

play five to seven

48:19

rushes each at least always

48:21

there's break one ten twelve yard run and next

48:23

thing, you know, nineteen a half is pretty easy number hit. To

48:25

your point, he did it against Giants right a couple of weeks ago.

48:28

He had a hundred plus. Again, game was

48:30

a little bit out of reach, but they are going to want

48:32

to control the game with the run. That's gonna open up a

48:34

lot of things from the passing game. Nineteen

48:36

and a half seems like a low number. Well, if you love

48:38

that too, you gotta put him as any time scorer. He's

48:40

not gonna an m v P without being an any time scorer,

48:43

so you have to throw in that for sure.

48:45

But I think he has a good game. I think all

48:48

three of them have the potential to be really really

48:50

dominant against that team. I know Chris Jones

48:53

and I know they're they're d lines, but they

48:56

control the game when they run the ball. Well, they are going

48:58

to try to do that. It's going to open up some sort of RPO

49:00

or play action. Um So I think

49:03

that's the way they control the game. And that's why I'm

49:05

leaning Eagles right now. Sorry, Live And that's sort

49:07

of your first problem. You So you like gain well over

49:09

nineteen and a half yards like minus one fifteen

49:12

minus one fifteen right now, yep. Sticking

49:14

kind of with the running backs, the checko,

49:16

rushing and receiving total sixty nine and

49:18

a half. I think in order to have a

49:21

good game and in order for them to keep up. I

49:23

think he and Kelsey are probably the two guys that need to

49:25

have a solid game. I think there's

49:27

gonna be a lot of checkdowns and we'll get into Kelsey in a second,

49:30

but I think there's gonna be a lot of those checkdown type of

49:32

plays. There's gonna be a lot of pressure from a really good

49:34

Philadelphiagles defense exactly,

49:36

and I think he's just gonna have to be the guy available. So sixty

49:39

nine and a half looking at forty rushing yards,

49:41

twenty is twenty something receiving yards.

49:43

I think that's pretty tamable number. Pochecko.

49:46

I think the last something

49:48

like the last eleven games, all

49:51

yards from scrimmage eight two yards

49:53

on the Chiefs, the only person higher Travis

49:55

Kelsey eight three. So he's

49:57

been the guy that's been helping dominate that offense.

50:00

Uh So, I mean it's going to continue

50:02

this week. I think he's gonna be the focal point. Yeah,

50:05

and you know you mentioned Kelsey. I've

50:07

been fading him on the anytime touchdown

50:09

thing, which was one of my favorite bets all year. It's almost

50:12

you know, you can almost book it for every game and

50:14

you'll come out on top. And not

50:17

only did I fade it last week, but my

50:19

sister in law I talked about on the show she had actually bet him

50:21

for a first touchdown of the game score. I'm like, there's

50:23

just no way she had both of those last

50:25

week. But is there any way

50:28

if you're the Eagles that you could let Travis

50:30

Kelsey unless you have a big lead. How could

50:32

you let Travis? I know he's that great best

50:35

ever in that regard, but just

50:37

how are you not putting three guys on him and saying,

50:40

anyone else, Valda, anyone else beat

50:42

me. So it's like we did these picks together because

50:44

that's where kind of Kelsey comes in from my plays.

50:46

You have him on a touchdown, I have him so

50:49

six and a half receptions over on that. I

50:51

think there's gonna be a lot of help over the top

50:53

coming. They are gonna make him again

50:56

the dump the dinky sort of plays. He's

50:58

going to get those five to

51:00

six yard plays, maybe break out a couple for first

51:02

downs, but they're going to have the support over the top.

51:05

They're gonna make and beat him with all the checkdowns against

51:07

strong defenses this year. I think Jacksonville,

51:10

Buffalo, Niners, few other teams. He

51:13

has fourteen targets, twelve targets a game. He's

51:15

gonna get, get the looks six

51:18

and a half his mightus won fifty five, So a little bit you see.

51:20

If you wanted to stick ten plus, which he's done twice this year,

51:22

actually three times including the playoffs, I think plus

51:24

three. I think he's gonna get

51:26

a lot of those short looks. Again, going back to the

51:29

Eagles pass rush and and what they can do

51:31

to get to the quarterback, it's gonna be really hard

51:33

for him to break out those twenty thirty yard plays that we're kind

51:35

of used us steps in and then from

51:37

an any time touchdown. I mean, if they get to the red zone,

51:40

obviously he is the target that over the top help

51:42

doesn't matter anything. Yeah, it really just doesn't matter. You just

51:44

still have to have a position in that bet.

51:46

And it's I think the price right now, if I'm

51:48

not mistaken, is somewhere around MNUS. It's

51:52

you're not laying a lot there for any time touch on for

51:55

maybe the best tight end ever, top three, I

51:57

think you gotta do it. Maybe maybe

51:59

maybe take that with the receptions, or maybe

52:01

take that with an all yards and get its two

52:03

plus money. But I mean it's

52:06

it's Travis Kelsey. I think he's gonna

52:08

get the touches. Is he going to get the significant balls?

52:10

Is he gonna get this place? That's probably

52:12

the big question. Do you have any guesses on your how's

52:14

your question? Doing? Um really good? In

52:16

fact, bet m jam is probably gonna get mad at me because we're

52:18

gonna be given out a lot of bonus back. Well, I think we

52:20

have to stop it now because people have probably looked

52:23

at the internet. So I'll tell you as I'm

52:25

so, this is the last This is the last regular

52:28

season m VP to win a Super a

52:30

super Bowl. And as Jerry and I looked into it, it

52:32

turns out it's a pretty cursed award.

52:34

When you win regular season m v P

52:37

and play in the Super Bowl, a lot

52:39

of times you don't win. Last time it happened, Kurt

52:42

Warner, we kept thinking it's got to be Brady

52:47

won a Super Bowl and m v P in the same season.

52:49

So Elliott Duncan, Frank Lucas smashed

52:51

billion. Josh Jones not a good

52:54

shoe, yikes. Thirteen yikest

52:57

is right, because there's sixty.

53:00

I've toe tag toe tag

53:02

also got it right. So thank you everyone for playing.

53:04

Good job. I

53:07

know I'm sorry, I'm sorry. This is on

53:09

decker. I had nothing to do with this. This is

53:11

like me at the bar after a couple I'm like, no one more

53:13

round around. You just bought you

53:15

bought rounds for everybody. It is a good way

53:17

to get people into the big game sperience. So we're

53:19

happy to give the bonus. All right, you have a couple play props,

53:22

a couple more so we got two more here. Next

53:24

one goes back to Eagles a little bit. Vante Smith

53:27

three and a half yards is uh the

53:30

over under for the longest reception that he'll

53:32

have in the game. Seven out of the last eight

53:34

games he's had twenty three plus. That

53:36

is a number that to me again established

53:39

a run. They start loading the box a little

53:41

bit. Davante Smith breaks out for one. It

53:43

doesn't have to be a forty yard play. It could

53:45

be a ten yard screenplay. Next thing you know, he's there

53:47

forty yards. That to me minus

53:50

one fifteen. Again, a lot of these props are right around up. I

53:52

love that. And here's why having watched the Eagles

53:54

now three times against the Giants, and obviously

53:56

I watched the game last week, the first game when

53:58

they blew the Giants out star it with a big pass

54:00

to Davant Smith, and

54:03

then again against the Giants in the playoffs,

54:05

same thing, and then obviously that catch no

54:07

catch thing against your San Francisco for your Niners.

54:10

So it does seem like part of the winning formula

54:12

is he's just gonna get the looks. It's the same thing

54:15

I like with when betting props in basketball.

54:17

Who's going to get the most opportunity to at

54:19

least give me a chance to win this prop? And

54:21

I think that I think that's a great prop because I think

54:24

whenever it's gonna go downfield, I think he's guitar. I think

54:26

a J. Brown is immediate over the middle. And

54:29

I love that. And your

54:31

heads, I will say, caveat

54:33

seven out of eight three plus longest

54:36

you know, you know, last seven eight games. One

54:38

of those is the catch against the Niners. So maybe

54:40

it's it counts, it's in the books.

54:42

It's the books. Still better, still

54:45

better, all right. I like where you're out so far?

54:47

Okay, so last the last one we're

54:49

gonna go big game m v P. Last

54:51

week, I think we talked a little bit about if you're gonna

54:54

take the Eagles, maybe take Jalen Hurts as m v

54:56

P. If the Eagles win, there's

54:58

no doubt he's gonna get the Super

55:00

Bowl MVT. I've I've

55:02

actually started to move away from that now.

55:05

So San Reddick thirty to

55:07

one. You're copying him now, great

55:11

minds think alike. But I love that someone

55:13

else's backing me up because I got hypothetically.

55:16

I mean, he's had sixteen sacks this year, three

55:18

or four forced fumbles. He's

55:21

been a monster. He's probably second

55:23

or third and defensive player of the year. If

55:25

he does two sacks,

55:27

three sacks and gets one of those forced fumbles

55:30

for a touchdown, defensive touchdown, one of your

55:33

one of your props in the prop. I

55:40

like, you have to consider it again. Long shot

55:42

thirty to one. Likelihood of it happening, No, but it's

55:44

good. It's a jerry for our

55:47

a lottery ticket. It's a Seattle Sea HUK lottery.

55:49

Look, even if it doesn't hit, it may

55:52

at least give you excitement through two and

55:54

a half three quarters. I love I've

55:56

been on this for two weeks. I love this. I

55:58

mean I obviously got see him two weeks

56:01

ago against you were there in person, I wasn't.

56:03

I was fortunately I

56:06

was there for the win against Dallas. But he's

56:08

dominant, I mean, especially when you put him against the right tackle.

56:11

I mean, he was just absolutely dominant against mcclinchy.

56:13

He's done that all year, sixteen sacks. Why

56:16

not puts on at

56:18

one shot. You know what made

56:20

me think of it too, is I really tried

56:22

thinking about who is the last defensive player to win

56:25

Super Bowl MVP and what did that look like? And

56:27

it was Von Miller. And I'm

56:29

not saying that they're similar players, but

56:31

they're both amazing off the edge rushers

56:33

are super fast and can impact

56:35

the game. But the other thing is, yes, if

56:38

the Eagles win, Hurts obviously

56:40

is the favorite, and he should be. I haven't really seen

56:42

it with the receiver in a while. I just think that there's

56:44

a version my favorite word, there's a version

56:46

where the Eagle. If the Eagles win, the

56:49

offense is so loaded, it's really spread

56:51

out equally, like Miles Sands

56:53

could have a touchdown, maybe gain well, maybe Jalen

56:56

has a rushing one who knows. I think the offense

56:58

could be spread out evenly enough that

57:00

there's no clear cut m v P on the offensive

57:03

side. If Reddick has one of those

57:06

two sacks forced fumble, uh

57:08

and Laura, I mean, if it gets a defensive touchdown,

57:10

forget if there's a scoop in a score, and

57:12

if that happens early, we're in business thirty

57:15

one even late, like say the game's

57:17

tied going to the fourth quarter and he has a huge forced

57:20

fumble returns to for a touchdown that ends

57:22

up being the game winner. I mean that right there

57:24

is the kind of thing that gets you super bowling. And I know Mahomes

57:27

is Wolverine and he's the fastest healer ever.

57:30

And I will never negate that sarcastic.

57:32

No, I'm saying. I get what I'm saying. Is I

57:35

get that. That being said, even if he's

57:37

ten percent five percent slower than

57:39

he normally is, that's only more of an advantage

57:41

for a edge rusher like Reddeck. Maybe

57:43

he's only five percent. If he's of

57:47

his normal speed, that's eight percent more

57:49

in our favor, making up

57:51

percentages. He lost me again again,

57:53

We're not that smart. Jerry, keep it simple.

57:56

One thing I was liking is is that it more

58:00

that I didn't put on our list either

58:03

quarterback. Sticking away from the quarterbacks. I

58:06

think Mahomes's yards

58:08

pretty high. I thought it hurts if

58:12

he's banged up. I don't know that I wanted to stay

58:14

away from both the quarterbacks. One

58:16

is more of kind of a live bet play. So

58:18

I think the last eight years, whoever has won the

58:20

coin toss has lost the game. So if

58:23

you're gonna I read something

58:25

in the last couple of days that said that, so Niners

58:28

won the coin toss against the Chiefs lost

58:30

the game, and that happened. Does it care, doesn't

58:32

matter if they kick or receive. It doesn't know it's winning. It's

58:35

winning the coins. So Chiefs

58:37

win the coin toss at the Eagles. Eagles win the coin

58:39

toss, and it's going to be obviously

58:42

right in play or get it right as the game is

58:44

about to start. But one of these things has

58:46

to hit. That's happened freaking last

58:48

seven years, So maybe this one. You

58:50

know, it's always a sneaky good one. But I don't think, I

58:52

mean, this game doesn't seem right. Safety

58:55

is such an always. I think the odds have actually leveled

58:57

out. There used to be really yeah, great

59:00

odds in favor of the better, and I think that the

59:02

safety is now. I will speak on behalf

59:04

of Jason Scott. That is one prop that the

59:06

book does not want because there is a heavy liability

59:08

on that. So uh and to

59:10

that point, I mean a lot of people bet it. You just put

59:12

a couple of bucks on it. It's a huge return. So

59:15

we do not want that at bet MGM. So maybe I

59:17

shouldn't And this is live, so we can't cut that. No, we're

59:19

not going to cut that. We're just gonna let everybody know the book

59:21

does not want that. And what's best

59:23

for the book too is Chiefs winning right now? What's

59:26

best? Yeah, exactly. We obviously took that

59:28

big million dollar bet, so right now the

59:30

money's leaning towards Eagles.

59:32

Obviously we have a couple of days to go and we'll see,

59:35

you know, like I haven't placed any bets yet. Usually

59:37

for me it's Thursday Friday when I start, so we haven't seen

59:39

a lot of the money come in yet, and typically

59:42

what day is I would think Saturday, Yeah,

59:44

the casual better I think you start to see it

59:47

getting Friday laid into Saturday and

59:49

then obviously Sunday it's a mad rush from what

59:51

eight am when you wake up, all the way till the game kicks off.

59:54

So how does it work? And again, if this is too much of

59:56

like behind that, behind the

59:58

current, you could just say, like Jerry, keep it moving.

1:00:00

But if I wanted to bet one

1:00:03

million dollars on the

1:00:05

Chiefs to like, can

1:00:07

I just like, can I just

1:00:09

do that? Or is there there has to is there like a

1:00:11

process? There's gonna be a process for a bet like that, right,

1:00:13

we have to do like a like a nube

1:00:16

as they say in gaming. Right now, when

1:00:18

we have a beer with Jason later, he'll talk about

1:00:20

that. But you know, we don't want to bet a million dollars

1:00:22

on anything. By the way, we have a process. Obviously,

1:00:24

we follow our due diligence and vet and make sure

1:00:27

that someone's doing the right thing. So we're not gonna let anybody

1:00:29

do it. But not anyone could do it if you're

1:00:31

listening out, if you if you were going to bet a million bucks on the

1:00:33

Eagles, you can't, not anyone can

1:00:35

do it or on the chief Sorry, Okay, I've got a question

1:00:37

to game total went up just one

1:00:40

point forty nine and a half to fifty and a half. And

1:00:42

because of the casual betters and that

1:00:44

a lot of people don't have skin in the game, this isn't a normal

1:00:46

NFL Sunday with every game obviously, what's

1:00:49

a good strategy to the game total? Because

1:00:51

playoff games underhit. I mean, I just took a

1:00:53

bunch of overs, so I think the it's

1:00:55

hard to say there's a strategy for it. For me,

1:00:57

it's because mahomes healthy. What's the strategy

1:01:00

are with that? I don't know. I just

1:01:02

I'm a guy who can't bet it under all

1:01:04

this time, Olivia is just telling us a seven

1:01:06

unders hit. Right in my mind,

1:01:08

I'm like, well, I can't bet that. I'm

1:01:10

trying to go through all these props and find it under that

1:01:13

I love, and I'm just like, yeah, I got I

1:01:15

had something with like because the odds are good

1:01:17

on under mahomes two nine

1:01:19

and a half yards or whatever in a single game, I think in

1:01:22

a one game, and I'm just like, I just don't

1:01:24

want to want to root for that, And it

1:01:26

might be the smart move, but when you have a example,

1:01:29

if the Niners were in this game. They have a strong defense, and

1:01:32

how still talking about the Niners, maybe

1:01:36

you take the under because you know there's a great defense,

1:01:39

but you have so such explosive

1:01:41

offenses, like we haven't even named half the

1:01:43

weapons on the Chiefs. And even see

1:01:46

right before you came on though, I said, like, okay,

1:01:48

real quick, before we start to begin to

1:01:50

wrap up. We may never wrap But

1:01:52

in my mind, when you look taking quarterback

1:01:54

out of play, when you start going like skill position

1:01:57

players, I think Kelsey's one, and I

1:01:59

think you name like three eagles at

1:02:01

least before you get to the next Chief, right, you'd

1:02:03

probably go Sanders

1:02:06

and maybe Davante, right, I guess

1:02:08

the way you could say, then you start getting to Check. That's

1:02:10

I think Check goes the sneaky one that fits in that top

1:02:12

four, right, But you're right there, and then there's

1:02:15

what receiver is next? For Cheeks, it's

1:02:17

the flavor of the week and Jerick McKinnon is going to prove

1:02:19

me wrong and scored three times. You know sant

1:02:22

Lane he had a hundred sixteen in the NFC Championship

1:02:25

game, and then the previous six he had a total of a

1:02:27

hundred seven and watch it's going to

1:02:29

be Kadarius Tony this week. It's just the way they

1:02:31

run that offensive and activated,

1:02:34

so you never know where he's going to jump into this. Is

1:02:36

he listening now? Have we listed all? Yeah?

1:02:39

I think we've got it. Yeah, okay,

1:02:43

I'm I drafted

1:02:45

it with Delayer in an auction draft for

1:02:47

like eighty dollars for three years ago, and

1:02:50

that was arguably one of the worst picks ever. I'm

1:02:52

just saying, I just don't know how much he's gonna get the ball. Like McKinnon's

1:02:56

good in the spots that they use him, I think he's very,

1:02:58

very dangerous, So I

1:03:00

just wonder if he's going to get the ball. I

1:03:02

mean maybe in the emergency situation. We'll find

1:03:04

out. This live thing

1:03:07

has done something to all of us all

1:03:09

here now,

1:03:12

we're all too busy. We don't want to see each other every week. Thanks

1:03:15

for tweeting at us too, because we had a lot of fun playing

1:03:18

that game with you. In the first five who

1:03:20

responded, we'll be getting the bonus. Bet. I just got

1:03:22

a little clarification from someone who's

1:03:24

much above my pay grade. Pete. Thanks for joining us

1:03:27

again. It's been great

1:03:29

looking forward to more of it. Thanks, Well

1:03:38

that was fun. Wow. Don't you wish all

1:03:40

of these were in person? I will just say live

1:03:43

and being in person and just feeling the energy

1:03:46

at the bet MGM Sports Book. You know,

1:03:48

there's like nine other shows going on here while we

1:03:50

record this show. There's live on the line, there's

1:03:54

right, So there's definitely an energy and

1:03:56

I look forward to doing this more. As we closed

1:03:59

the show, and what

1:04:01

a blast. Thank you to Jay Glazer, Peter

1:04:03

Andrew. Great props, great time, great trivia.

1:04:06

Now let's talk emotional stuff.

1:04:09

Okay, Well it started

1:04:11

when I was yeah, this

1:04:14

is your one of your teams in the Super

1:04:16

Bowl. Okay, in your

1:04:18

mind, what needs to happen for

1:04:21

the Chiefs to win this game? Chiefs

1:04:23

need to run the damn ball. Coach, run

1:04:25

the ball. Yeah they do. And I think

1:04:28

with all the gadgets and gizmos and the

1:04:31

fantastical play calling of Andy Reid,

1:04:33

I almost think they need to pair it back because here's

1:04:35

what happens in the Super Bowl. You got

1:04:38

everything you got. There are no more plays to hold

1:04:40

back. So I think it's very tempting as a coach and for

1:04:42

a genius play caller on both sides to

1:04:45

want to get fancy. I

1:04:47

think the Chiefs need to not be fancy. They

1:04:49

need to keep Patrick just upright. One more

1:04:52

game, one more game, and

1:04:54

it has been superhuman to watch his

1:04:57

recovery and to see any footage from practice like we

1:04:59

have. I think they need to run the ball, take advantage

1:05:02

of a defense that allows like six

1:05:04

point six yards per carry or something that they

1:05:06

and the NFL and yards per carry allowed,

1:05:09

take advantage. I think it's pretty

1:05:11

simple. Well, I want to just say good

1:05:13

luck to your Chiefs, thank you, good luck to all the betters

1:05:16

out there. I know it's gonna be a crazy one. All

1:05:18

the performers. We've got some great performers, will be a great

1:05:20

halftime show. Didn't even talk about Rihanna. Oh

1:05:22

yeah I did when I did, Uh, I did a show earlier

1:05:24

to talk about like the betting odds. What is she going to open

1:05:27

the show with? And well,

1:05:33

I haven't say. I say close with diamonds.

1:05:36

I think umbrellas in the middle, and I

1:05:38

don't. I just don't know what she's gonna open it. Either way, it's gonna

1:05:41

be great. And then we're gonna have to start getting our

1:05:43

minds into talking hoops after this, because we're

1:05:45

gonna have nothing. Sundays are

1:05:47

over. It's gonna be bad soccer games.

1:05:49

And then, uh, I don't even know we're gonna

1:05:51

go. We're gonna go story time at the library. I'll even

1:05:53

know what I'm gonna do one Sundays. It's over for me.

1:05:56

I'm sure your family will tell you. I'm a marked

1:05:58

man. It's over for me. So room for

1:06:00

listening to all NFL Season two. We promised.

1:06:02

We are not done. We'll still be here every Tuesday, recording

1:06:05

in episodes up for you every Thursday to

1:06:07

preview the weekend's actions. We'll get in We'll get

1:06:09

more into golf for sure. Basketball.

1:06:11

This guy's an NBA junkie. Yeah,

1:06:14

we need a lot. We didn't even talk Kyrie Irvings.

1:06:16

We'll have a lot more Kyrie stuff.

1:06:18

I know she's like I roll, but we'll we'll

1:06:20

We'll be there for you on Tuesday, and I get

1:06:22

good luck to everybody out there. Let's close

1:06:24

this out. Let's go drink. Sorry. Biggest thing

1:06:26

is subscribe to the bed MGM Unleashed

1:06:29

YouTube page, because then you can watch all of our episodes,

1:06:32

then get a drink, and then go get a drink, and you can

1:06:34
