In other words, we all grew up and matured/changed.UndergroundLou.com began it’s radio stream in 2002, quickly becoming a featured LIVE365 radio station, which was full of controversy. The station was featured on the FRONT PAGE of the Courier Journal, made the FRONT PAGE of Live365.com, and also became a frontrunner for free speech.64K listeners per day, and 30+ countries tuned in – probably more. We were crass, highly controversial, and a lot of what we said would not be appropriate today. The station was LGBT+ owned an operated, and was full of DJ’s and personalities who would compliment each aspect of the spectrum. There were all walks of life, all sexual preferences, all kinds of humor. NO ONE WAS racist, sexist, homophobic, or any of that which would offend people in 2020. Humor was what made drag queen “Sully” so loveable, and tolerable. Humor was “Psycho Josh” going after the Government or whomever, and HUMOR was what kept you laughing with Optimus Prime or The Burning Axe got so stoned on the air that YOU would get the munchies. We proved points, we make noise, we put music out by local unsigned bands for the world to hear. It makes me tear up now at the past feeling like it was yesterday, and while some of the DJ’s are gone…….. some have passed away…….others are now bigger names in their respective communities. We just want to say thank you, and I hope these archives bring you joy. Also, honestly, we do have to censor now – times have changed, people have grown up, and so we will censor some parts to keep them from harms way.
