Chris Crewstook a few yoga classes in Evansville years ago when hot yoga was the only type of yoga available. She then moved to Scottsdale, Arizona for a year and immediately looked for a yoga studio. After learning that she would soon be moving back to Indiana, she obtained her 200-hour Yoga Teacher Certification so she could continue her practice on her own. Once back in Evansville she immediately put her teacher training to work, hosting Yoga classes at health clubs, spas and church groups all over the area. She was soon teaching 13 classes per week. The constant travel convinced her to open her own studio and have her students come to her for instruction. She ran her own studio for nearly 6 years. During this time, she also began to teach and certify others to teach Yoga in her studio. She has been conducting teacher training for over ten years. She has now taught over 100 Yoga teachers. This year she is going to instigate a 300-hour Yoga teacher training program and plans to start teaching new teachers soon. Chris still teaches private, public and corporate classes.
