The hosts and guests are genuine. Their stories are heart-warming, thought-provoking, and a springboard to initiating important conversations. I enjoy the variety of stories, too. Some are humourous and fun; others, a call to action. Each has given me a new perspective or insight.
I love how this podcast doesn't "clean-up" the voices of the guests for ableist listeners. I think a lot of people of all disabilities will hear their stories in at least one of these episodes. Actively inclusive.
These stories grab me so much more than hot takes or professional opinions. They are the genuine stories of people pursuing their lives with disabilities, which sounds like a humble set up. Except I hear about perspectives and situations I get nowhere else, and just the way the guests deal with them absolutely hooks and charms me as the listener.
