Welcome to trashy talkies. This episode is about the 1990 V. Menon movie Jungle Love, which is apparently India's answer to Tarzan and Jane and the most feminist film/movie picture in the world. As much I am trying to make fun of this film, I love the fact that it's an honest attempt at making a half-decent movie. The movie features a village called Roopnagar, where only women are allowed. If men are born, well, watch the video to find out what happens to them. The movie has an amazing star cast - Disco Shanthi, Goga Kapoor, Gajendra Chauhan, Shiva, Satish Shah and many more and these actors are not even playing the lead in this movie!!! The heroine is Kirti Singh and the hero is Rocky (that's the only movie he has played the lead in). Watch out for the animals!!!
To talk about this, I have a very special guest, my closest friend and a film enthusiast, Projjal Dhar!!!
