"To the Best Our Knowledge" bills itself as "a kaleidoscope of ideas" and, as such, is often a grab bag of interviews and segments. But it often has the guts to be subtly provocative, despite the seemingly mainstream emphasis of the show. There's sometimes a gloomy thoughtful feel to the show that I found weirdly comforting before the pandemic, but that it thankfully doesn't seem to be flinching away from during these unprecedented times.
