In this episode, we talk to Ahmed Abou El-Saad, Managing Director at Azimut, about the ways in which asset management companies make investing for individuals easier through mutual funds.
Mutual funds are pools of money collected from many investors by asset managers and invested on their behalf. We talk to Ahmed about how Azimut and companies like it allow investors to give their money to professional money managers who put their investment into companies or a fund based on their expert knowledge of the financial sphere and the stock markets. Additionally, amateur investors can use asset management companies to broaden their investment portfolios.
Azimut's AZ-Savings fund reached an all-time high of EGP 728 million last week. The asset management company opened the fund in October 2020.
