Naomie Labaty received a Master's Degree in Global Affairs at Florida International University. She also graduated from FIU in 2013 with a BA in International Relations and Political Science along with a certificate in Latin American and Caribbean Studies. She previously served as a co-host of Plezi Soley, a weekly cultural show on Island TV. She is also the co-founderof Boukan Night, a bi-weekly cultural and artistic show at North Miami’s MOCA Café. Naomie Labaty is a strong advocate for women’s empowerment, education, and the preservation of art and culture within the Haitian community. She is interested in international development, public service, civic engagement, global education, women's empowerment, human rights, international affairs, philosophy, literature, and music.
