Originally from Indiana, Shavise has lived in the city of Baltimore for five years. Shavise started Flavor & Soul in September 2015 as her creative outlet, away from her regular 9 to 5, for good finds and delicious recipes. Now, Shavise strives to encourage the everyday person to get in the kitchen and cook a meal made from the soul.
