In this episode…

Is it possible for a large bank to offer a range of products while maintaining a personal touch? Achieving this balance can be challenging but it's not impossible.

Jared Goldfarb, a seasoned banking professional with two decades of experience, strongly believes in the importance of mutual respect and loyalty in building robust customer relationships. Large banks offer a broad range of products, but Jared prioritizes understanding his clients' needs and tailoring his services accordingly. Providing personalized service and quick response times is critical to maintaining the relationship. Highly selective when assessing potential clients, Jared prefers to establish long-term banking relationships with people rather than facilitating one-off transactions. Valuing conversations with clients to understand their vision will preserve a firm connection in the future. By focusing on building trust and providing exceptional customer service with a small-town feel, clients eventually become advocates and help grow the business through networking.

On today's episode of The Same Day Podcast, Yoni Schmidt joins Jared Goldfarb, the Senior Vice President of Commercial Lending at BancFirst, to discuss how a large bank can offer the service and benefits of a small one. Jared shares why he believes building people-focused relationships is essential, how a bank can differentiate itself in a sea of competition, and some common misconceptions in the commercial lending space.
