This is episode 10 of The Mr. Mike Podcast: Wrong Answers Only. We had a chance to chat with local Montrealer, Jospeh D'Intino. He is a PhD Candidate in School and Applied Child Psychology at McGill University. His doctoral thesis examines the development of executive functioning skills (i.e., planning, inhibition, working memory, goal setting, etc.) in adolescents and how best to support students to improve these skillsets. Joseph has also published peer-review articles concerning best research in education, differentiated instruction, and how to support students with learning disabilities. Joseph also works to give back to his community through fundraising efforts that support youth programs, as well as through his website and blog, Healthy Learning MTL (healthylearningmtl.com), which provides free tips, articles, and resources for parents and educators in an effort to disseminate research findings and expertise to the wider community. Have a listen and enjoy!
