I was in the mood for a true crime story and gave this podcast a try. I have a hard time finding true crime podcasts that I like since a lot of times I really dislike the way the hosts talk about it - if they're too flippant, or if they use stigmatized views against mental illness as a scape goat. They also tend to be pretty long. But I'm glad I tried this podcast, as this ep was a really nice narrative overview of this case, which is one I've never heard of before. The narrator's voice does sometimes lean into "overly dramatic" but once I got used to it that didn't bother me so much. There is really nice sound editing. I think I will keep listening to this podcast when I'm in my true crime mood.
