Friday the Detroit Tigers announced that manager Brad Ausmus would not be brought back in 2018 ending the tenure of a skipper who had arguably the greatest pure hitter of a generation and one of the best right-handers in the organization’s history at his disposal. And yet couldn’t get anything done.
