I can already tell I’m gonna love this cast

I felt slightly overwhelmed by all the characters, especially since there are no visuals and only voices so distinguishing them in dialogue right from the start was... not great. I had to read the transcript afterwards to put it all together. I think they should have introduced the characters a bit slower, so instead of starting with the party - I mean event - I would have started with Alice helping Sam with his first case and then slowly introduce everyone one by one as they pop up. But maybe that's just me. Other than that, great first episode. Really like the intro (more than the Magnus Archives one tbh)

Stellar to have them back but felt very flat. Maybe too many characters, too jumbled? Not earned yet? Some grating characters that felt like a slog to listen to. But the "narrative" part was still good.
