Episode Reviews

I finished this entire series (initial impressions, would have loved it if certain moments had been better adapted and not just left up to sound design to convey everything...) but since then, I've been listening to an audiobook version of the original story on youtube and have realized just how much of this show was lost in translation. So here's a quick spoiler once you're done with this episode (maybe you got it, congrats, I didn't...)----- SPOILER ----- The monster that chases Eve and Lillith past the next turn (which sounds like a monster truck come to life...) is a humanoid figure with a concave face and multiple breaks on its arms and legs. Its dressed in the same style of the clothes found in the backpack in the crashed car and when Alice calls the cell number she found in the call history of the Nokia-C4 bomb, a cellphone in the creature's pocket rings. The badly-broken, humanoid figure is presumed to be the person who created the C4 bomb and was in the car crash near the hitchhiker/tunnel. I just... it's hard to recommend an audio drama when you have to find a second audio drama to help you make sense of the damn thing...
