If you really want success then your WHY is the most important driver of your motivation.

Last week's conversation on Vision Boards - which is really goals - created a wave of questions. Thanks to everyone that asked. The big one was really about "trying and failing" or "trying and giving up". 

"What is the point of a vision board when if I cant keep doing what needs to be done?" 

One part of the answer is the power of your thoughts and the need to be clear on the destination. Which we covered in episode #5.

The other part is about sticking to the mission. Doing what needs to be done. For all of us that has tried and failed at anything, we know that is the hardest part. 

So how do you stay motivated when life gets in the way?

How do you make a habit stick?

How do you ignore the thoughts telling you to eat the cake, not make the call or stay in bed?

The answer is your "WHY?"

A clear reason that is bigger than all your thoughts and feelings telling you otherwise. 

When I start working with Dads they either are not clear on their WHY or the WHY is not truly connected to heart felt reason. A reason that gives you goosebumps when you centre on it.

The interesting thing is that once you start playing with WHY's you build greater resilience. Knowing yourself as someone who can do whatever they put their mind to is incredibly powerful. But it's a muscle. A super power.
