A common struggle amongst business-owning and high-performance dads is guilt. They need to focus on the business but can't be home to put the children to bed. Then when they play with their children but can't stop thinking about what they should be doing at work!

No surprise that somewhere down the line when it goes tits up regret quickly follows.

The biggest kick in the nuts is hearing your child ask you "why are you always working Dad?"

It's about taking responsibility for everything you do. You didn't create a business so that you could ignore your children. So don't do it.

Part of the answer is planning your time effectively. Before we get there though, your mindset is where guilt and regret sit. They are toxic and will do more than just distract you.

It's time to master your mindset and replace the toxic energy with positive energy.
