Before becoming Lilly Pulitzer’s CEO eight years ago, Michelle Kelly had been with the company for 12 years. That experience helped set her up for success as the company’s leader, she said on this week’s Glossy Podcast."I was able to develop a strong sense of how we operate,” she said. “For everything we've built over the past 20 years, I have some knowledge of how it was done and how we got there. And, of course, the functional knowledge of how different departments work has been really helpful.
