At university, she started freelance writing and editing for different companies, leading to the founding of Proof Content after rewriting a 3,500-page website for a holiday company. This challenge sparked the agency's growth, focusing on using words to solve business problems.

The Evolution of Proof Content

Proof Content initially produced content in high volumes with a network of 150 freelance writers. Over time, the focus shifted to quality, key messaging, and positioning, echoing Charli's belief in speaking clearer, not louder. Her team comprises in-house journalists, writers, businesspeople, and four office dogs. They also leverage AI technology, including their AI bot, Pudding, which plays a significant role in operations.

AI and Content Creation

Charli discusses the impact of AI on content creation, noting that it can automate certain tasks but requires human creativity for strategic alignment. While AI streamlines some processes, human involvement remains crucial for brainstorming, quality control, and fact-checking.
