Pamela Sackett is a writer (songs, scripts & books), a teaching artist and performer using the arts for social change. Pamela coined the term "emotion literacy” in 1992 and in 2001, she co-founded Emotion Literacy Advocates (ELA).
Pamela’s work champions self-knowledge, self-authority and meticulous self-care. Her writings and performances have been embraced by arts organizations, social service agencies, incorporated into high school and university curricula, local government agency programs and broadcast media in the Pacific Northwest, Canada and Mexico.
In 2013, Antioch University Seattle bestowed upon Pamela their Distinguished Alumni Award.
