There are 4 types of attachment disorder in adults. These are Secure attachment, anxious-ambivalent attachment style, avoidant attachment style, and disorganized attachment style.

It's important to understand these attachment disorders in adults and where they come from. They often can come from trauma wounds we experience as children.

Particularly adults with avoidant personality disorders can impact and create intimacy issues within relationships.
