Unfortunately, there are several themes that are expressed in childhood trauma symptoms. Some of these symptoms can come from not having core consistencies in your life. Imagine staring into a broken mirror every day. You are not getting an accurate picture of your true self. And day by day this can wear you down.

Between ages 0-5 Children should have these things in place. If they are not consistent, this leads to a common occurrence in childhood trauma.- Empathy- Idealizing- Mirroringand Affective attunement
