Demons, and Books, and Beetles oh my!Where'd i'd like to start convincing you to listen to this great story is first and foremost the plot. Right from episode one this story hits the ground running and keeps it going strong. Every time you think the party might just be messing about in a town, as parties always do, it quickly and easily links into the story very well. This is one of the obvious strengths that Mike (DM) brings to the table along with a fantastic homebrew world for the party to travel in. Secondly of course is the cast! We have Hanno, Betty, and Jakar. Starting off they seem like characters you would normally encounter at the gaming table but they quickly unfold and begin meshing right away. Jakar brings forth the brutal driving force that is powered by something much more sinister inside of him. Hanno clings desperately to morality as they face treacherous and horrific circumstances that cause them to waver. Lastly, Betty brings in the efficiency of a veteran explorer, aiming to finish things quickly and efficiently when the party begins to get stuck at a stand still. After finishing episode 1, i was quickly intrigued by what the party faced and the intrigue only grew as the party continues to advance through episode 4. Jump in on this fun and treacherous journey that will help us understand the darkness surrounding our fair heroes!
