Having a baby doesn't have to be expensive; depending on your personal situation, you don't have to be spending hundreds and thousands of dollars per month and year on additional expenses when they are really great alternatives that can save you a LOT of money. 

We've been making our own baby wipes since Birdy was born, and by doing that coupled with our use of re-usable diapers, we've saved ourselves hundreds of dollars in the last nine months alone.
