The first season is in progress as I write this. It is a story about fandom/media criticism following a high school senior and fanfiction writer who is trying to figure out her future, as well as a creator of a TV show (a bit of a Buffy/Supernatural mix), as creator intent vs audience interpretation of the show clash, specifically on the redeemability of the show's popular villain/antagonist and the direction the creator decides to take the show in after he learns people sympathize with this antagonist. I don't personally care for some of the extra episodes regarding the fictional TV show (I don't watch interview content about shows I'm a fan of), but interspersing a scene at the beginning of the episodes is fun. This story explores how teenage girls in particular relate to media and while that's a good angle to explore, I think it would also be interesting to mention intersecting angles.
