Excellent article. Only critique is that when quoting how much a poker player is making a year, especially for someone who plays tournaments, you need to specify the net won. You can win 50K+ a year and be at a loss (even befor accounting or expenses beyond the entry fee) depending on what tournaments are entered. I don't remember exactly, but when online poker was possible in most of the US, online tracking sites showed only 20% or less actually were making money. This makes sense as most tournaments only pay 10-15% of the entrants and this there is a lot of volatility.
